I'm starting the horrible task of finding a florist. Does anyone happen to know of a great florist? I want someone who will give his/her opinions and not just say, 'What ever you want sweety' Please Help if you can!!

Re: Any good Florists?
I am using flowers by Lorraine. She is incredibly patient, and smart! SHe is realy easy going and very willing to work with you as to what she can do, etc. Of course, I haven't seen the finished results yet!
best of luck!

I am not sure where you want to look but I booked a florist in Port Jeff. It is Port Jeff Floral and she was super nice. I went in and she was making all these examples pulling flowers out of the refridgerator to show how it can look. She is even supposed to order purple gerbers for me. Good Luck!

Definently Pedestals, ask for JOE!! Amazing, you have to go shop him.
I second Joe, he is really creative and loves his work!

Murphys in Bayside. They are actually inspiring the way they talk about floral arrangements.

I went with Flowers by Matthew and he was incredible!
Flowers Michelle was also incredible and both of these were very fairly-priced.

Re: Any good Florists?
I booked Flowers By Emil . I have been using them for years for everything. Last Saturday was my shower and my FI ordered me this beautiful arrangement of roses that was out of this world. Carmine is a wonderful person to work with.

I am using BURTON'S with a number of other brides on here.... i found that they give you the most for your money they charge one price no matter what type of flower it it is and they charge one price for a high centerpiece and one price for any low centerpiece
I'm using them too, and completely agree with jill13bean. However, if money was no issue, I would have gone with In full Bloom (farmingdale) or Flowers Michelle. Michelle isn't expensive but they were a couple of hundred more than Burtons.

We went to look at Burtons and the rushed us out the door. They gave us a price double of what Laurie at LA Blossom gave us. They do nice work to though!

Spitz and Peck (Huntington), Mormile(Rockville Centre), Flowers by Brian (Mineola), or Murphy's (Bayside).
