Ok girls, So I know our wedding dates are approaching fast, is anybody starting any exercise regime before the wedding? I do go to the gym but I start to find the same workout routine boring. Anybody taking any interesting execise class or anything?

YES!! I just got back in the gym after about 2 months (or more) of LAZINESS!!
I took a power yoga class that was great on friday, and I am working out with a GREAT trainer. He has me doing a mix of cardio and weights with some yoga and pilates classes mixed in.

I've been trying to do a bunch of different things, just so I don't get bored and lose interest. FH and I have also started going for walks at night.

Re: Any ideas about...
I return my college in a week and will start looking for a good gym - i prefer to use the machines and workout on my own but I'd like to hire a trainer for atleast one afternoon so I could learn what excercises are the most effective for my target areas - i have always wanted to take a pilates class or something though!

I bought the Buff Brides book and will start that... soon. But it says you only need 6 months so of course I think I have plenty off time...

Re: Any ideas about...
I just started a diet kind of I basically watch what I eat and eat smaller portions I don't cut out everything. Like for lnch I had eggwhites and turkey on whole wheat toast but I wanted f rench fries so I got them been doing this for about a week and feel so much better. I eat more fruit and veggies. I don't have time for the gym being my FH works nites so I have no one to watch my daughter and she is in bed by 7pm so I can't even take her with me nad put her in the nursery cuz she would be so cranky. I am investing in a treadmill that will help me out alot though.

Pilates! It's low impact but really gets the job done.

Some gyms offer one free personal training session if you pretend that you're interested in buying a package. You can tell them what you want to work on and they can show what strength moves will help the most.
To make your cardio routine less boring, try doing intervals (running 2 minutes, walking 1).
If you plan to incorporate strength training, do it at least twice each week, three to four days are ideal.

I just started going to a spin class and really like it! I think the key is to change up what you're doing so you're using different muscles and so you don't get bored. I also love kickboxing classes - they work the whole body!

I try to go to the gym at least 2-3 days a week. Although I do the basic cardio/weight machines, its fun because my FI goes with me. We get to talk and keep each other motivated. So far it's work! I've gone down 2 pants sizes since we started!

Re: Any ideas about...
I'm probably gonna start the end of this month. Maybe either going to the good ol' gym or maybe just something at home. I really would like to take a hip hop class.
