I went to an engagement party there, the food was great. I have heard good things. It is a Scotto place and they have a good reputation.

My wedding was on 9/15/02 at CB. The place is amazing and the food was great. We were treated like royalty. I highly recommend the place. There are alot of brides on this board that has had a wedding at CB or that is going to.

Let em know if you have further questions.

We had our wedding there on Aug 3, 2002 and we enjoyed every minute of it. My GF Judy had her wedding there on Aug 19th, 2002 and all we can say is you will love it and you will be treated well. We love the place, the food, the service and the people.

Feel free to ask any questions

Which room do you have???

All the best and happy planning

Congrats on your weddings and thanks for the positive feedback. My cocktail hour will be in the Europa room and the reception is in the Normandy room.

Those are the rooms we had as well. Are you going to come up out of the floor?? we did and it was so cool.

We'll be coming up from the floor too...I am so excited for that. Were your guests surprised when the both of you came up? I bet everyone loved it. Did you have the champagne toast when they pop open all the bottles at the same time? If you did, how was that? Also, was there a pianist in the Europa room during cocktail hour?

I am so excited I am getting married on july 4 and we have the Europa for our cocktail hour and Normandy for our reception, I am so excited to come up from the floor, but I don't know what we should do, I think since it is the fourth of july we may hold red white and blue glow sticks to give it some kind of effect, but any ideas would be great

That's a cute idea. What about putting sparklers all around you on the floor. You can put them into glass holders and as you come up they will sparkle. I just don't know how long they last for.

Re: Any info about Chateau Briand?

Hi Welcome !!!
I'm another Chateau Briand Bride here, I'm getting married exactly a year before you are !!!!!
I'm also using the Normandy, and Europa. I went to Shamma's wedding, and it was absolutely beautiful. I think you have to bring your own music for the Cocktail hour, I havent' decided what I'm doing yet. Shamma had steel drum players and it was great.
CB also has a pianist that is pretty good. I heard her when I went to Europa for dinner one night, the food is FABULOUS !!!!!!
I'm not sure if I'm coming out of the floor yet, b/c FH is totally against it We're still battling this one out

Re: Any info about Chateau Briand?

I'm so happy to hear that there are so many CB brides on this site and that there is so much positive feedback. I am absolutely, 100% addicted to this site.

Did all of you have to make payments really early? I have over a year and a half until the wedding and I have my first payment due in 2 weeks. Is that the way it works or is it different for everyone?

Re: Any info about Chateau Briand?

I just got married there on October 4th! I loved it, we had the ceremony there & I can't remember what rooms we had (it wasn't the Normandy or the Europa though, Saturina (sp?) was one of them) we loved the bridal suite and the photgraphy studio had a bar & food for the bridal party, it was really nice. The BM (Tom Wright) was VERY sweet & helpful, our MD was very sweet too (I forgot his name too) But our wedding was awesome, we had a great time, everything ran smoothly, no worries, no stress, the food was FABULOUS, as was the cake....YUMMMMM!!!!!! We also stayed at the Fox Hollow Inn in one of their Bridal Suites (that's also owned by the Scotto Brothers) and our room was BEAUTIFUL!!!! Great place to spend our first night as hubby & wife!

My brother got married there February 16, 2002 and they did such a great job that me & my Fiancee are getting married at the Watermill (also owned by the Scotto brothers) February 15, 2003.
I don't think you can go wrong with them price wise or service wise.

Re: Any info about Chateau Briand?

HEY, I TOO AM GETTING MARRIED AT THE CB. AND I AM ALSO HAVING THE NORMANDY ROOM AND COMING UP OUT OF THE FLOOR. THAT IS THE COOLEST PART:) BUT FOR OUR COCKTAIL HOUR, WE ARE GETTING HALF OF THE LEONARDO DA VINCI ROOM. I DONT THINK I EVER EVEN SAW THE EUROPA ROOM. IS THIS WIERD TO BE HAVING HALF OF THEIR LARGEST ROOM?? I CANT WAIT, THAT PLACE IS UNREAL!!!
