Any info about Chateau Briand?

Please post any information you may have (good or bad) abouth the Chateau Briand in Carle Place.
I'm planning my ceremony and reception there and I'm from New Jersey so I don't know too many people who can give me any feedback. Thanks Ladies.

You know what I'm thinking? For the cocktail hour in the Saturnia, they may use up the entire room for the tables, including the dance floor, wheras for receptions they need that dancefloor bare, so ppl could dance.
So for the cocktail, it could actually fit more ppl.
Do I make sense?

CW0904, are they putting tables on the actual dance floor portion of the room too?

Hi everyone, I'm new to this board, and I'm so happy to stumble upon this site!!! I've been reading all the posts for 2 days now. Anyway, my FH and I have not booked a reception hall yet and from what I've been reading Chateau Briand seems like an option. Does anyone know about how much a person for a Saturday night say from Aug-Oct? Also do they offer a buffet style or sit down if so how much in difference will it be? About how many hours do they normally give you for the evening? I know I have to go there and find out all these answers but if you could help me I would be thankful.

my sister was just in a bp there and loved it....she had nothing but good things to say about it!

I just had my reception there over Labor Day weekend and it was fantastic. The food was amazing, and everyone has told me the service was fantastic, too. We had the Leonardo da Vinci room.

I had my senior banquet there in May, and everything was awesome! The food was really good, and the service was great. Good luck with your planning!

We booked CB for our 3/5/04 wedding. Things are going really well so far.
