I'm actually getting married there in May of 06! I just fell in love with it and everything that they had to offer....from the food/desserts (OMG!) to the grounds and all of the rooms! Plus the people who work there are sooooooo extremely nice and helpful! Any questions feel free to ask.....

Re: Any info on Oheka Castle?
Oh yes and I almost forgot they let me look at Joey's wedding albumn!! LOL!! They had a gigantic and I mean gigantic picture/banner/poster thing of his bride hanging from the ceiling of the front staircase! It was the first thing everyone saw when they first walked in! It scared me a little.....

Re: Any info on Oheka Castle?
Thanx for replying to my post. I am going to see Oheka Castle this weekend for the official tour. I just wanted to ask you if there was a minimum guest list and if they were negotiable at all on the price (you dont have to tell me what you got it for, just if they wavered at all from what they asked).By the way, you are so lucky for booking the castle! Maybe if i cant' have it for my wedding... you will invite me to yours? !!

Re: Any info on Oheka Castle?
They are expensive, but once we booked/signed the contract they worked with us and came down in the pp. price, which I think has a lot to do with how many people you guarantee them.....we gauranteed 200. They also came down with the initial guest room price as well......by quite a significant amount which I was really excited about because now the guest rooms are reasonable and more people will definitely stay as opposed to the first price they gave us, which I nearly choked on! I hope that you meeting with Rick....thats who I am working with and he is sooooo nice and helpful and will work with you as much as he can with the pricing! He did tell us that it is harder for them to come down so much in pricing because of the whole contest thing that the NY Lottery was/is having.....Good Luck and let me know how it goes!
