Me. But, I think I am going to try to tone down the shamrocks. They are really cute, though.

Re: any irish weddings out there?
I'm 100% Irish and I want to somehow incorporate something Irish into my wedding. But I'm not sure what yet.. and I'm not doing an Irish theme or anything so it might be hard for me. i shall find a way though! I did see a wedding show about a St Pat's day wedding and they did it all sooo classy. They used the Kelly Green and threw in some pink... it turned out georgous!!!!! It was 'Who's wedding is it anyway'. I think that was the name of the show... could be wrong. I'm going to check out that site though!
well. i know that for irish weddings you are supposed to carry a horseshoe and ring a bell after the i do's! lol

My husband is 100% Irish (both parents born in Ireland).
Our invitations had the claddagh on them. Our wedding rings have chaddaghs and knots on them. Our toasting flutes were Glaway crystal with the claddagh on them. They were a gift from my DH's Aunt and Uncle (who were born in Ireland and now live in Wales). Our money bag had claddagh on it.

My DH's dad was born in Killarney (County Kerry). He passed away before I met my DH. My DH's mom was born in Ballybunion (County Cork). She came to the US when she was 18 years old. Her relatives are now in Cardiff (Wales). Perhaps put a post in the 'Vendors Helping Brides' chat, asking if there is a travel agent who knows a lot about Ireland.
My DH went to Ireland when he was 16. He often mentions the Rings of Kerry.
THANKS...its ok...I can just go to the original place I found..the tours in the book she gave us covered a lot of different places for a 2 week stay....i am sooo excited to go. We went to Croatia last year so now its time to hit Ireland....lol

Thanks!
We also had a bagpiper play as DH walked into the ceremony location. My mom found him, I have no idea where and how!
Another Irish element we had was an Irish station at the cocktail hour - we had Guinness, bangers and mash, and shephard's pie.
thats very cute. I think we're gonna have a bagpiper play at our church

Not really doing anything Irish themed, but I am having Irish dancers perform during dinner as a surprise to my mom. Irish dancing was such an important part of my life growing up.

Try sceptre tours ( www.sceptretours.com ) they have an office on Sunrise Hwy in Lynbrook, they offer lots of different packages. I recommend the ones where you stay in different B&B's and a castle! I had a great time when I went a few years ago with my family and can't wait to go again with FH.

Re: any irish weddings out there?
FH was born and raised in Ireland. He is wearing the Irish National Tartan (kilt) to our wedding (I really like kilts). I bought claddagh frames for table numbers - but keeping away from the shamrocks (at his request). I'm also 100% Irish but American born.
JJC - I try to go to Ireland every couple of years. FM me if you have any questions. CIE tours are definitely awesome, Aer Lingus also has tours that you can do. I would recommend a CIE tour that goes to Northern Ireland as well. I love it up there.
