Just curious if anyone else here is a major hockey fan! I am a rabid Islander fan - we have season tix and I was just wondering if anyone else is as depressed as I am right now?!?!

Sorry ladies, but it wouldn't be right if I wasn't honest...
LET'S GO RANGERS!!! LET'S GO RANGERS!!! LET'S GO RANGERS!!!
I am soooo glad to be back in NY...the only time I was able to see them play in California was when they played the San Jose Sharks...

I know, I know. Not looking to stir up too much controversy, b/c this is an very old rivalry. But, I have been an avid fan for so many years. I actually had partial season tix to the Rangers the year after they won the Cup. We got to attend the game where they presented the team with the Stanley Cup banner, and all the fans received mini replica banners. I still have it!

My FH - HUGE ISLANDERS FAN, me, not so much a hockey fan, but i am seriously trying. Sometimes I can get into it, others not so much. It's always been an issue for us b/c he's so into hockey, played it all through college, too.

Re: Any Islander Fans here?
Very big Islander fan here. My husband decided he'd like the Devils for no reason. Then again I'm a Met fan and he's a Yankee fan. I'm a Dolphin fan, and he's a Jet fan. So we have to keep tradition and not like the same hockey team too. But he does come to Islander games with me.

We are big Islander fans. We are not happy with the way they've been playing lately.

Re: Any Islander Fans here?
I'm sure all of you will be against me, but we are HUGE Devils fans :) Surprisingly I am surprised that we are doing as good as we are... have a bet going with a Rangers fan and thought for sure we would lose, but the way things are going we might win it after all!
