Re: Any LIMO Co's you would NOT use?

From people who I have spoken to at work, and a couple who we went to pre-cana with, I was told NOT to use M&V Limos. I have no personal experience with them, but I was told stories of late drivers, extra hours of overtime unfairly charged, and drivers not knowing directions. Of course, none of this is first hand, and I'm sure many girls have had great experiences with the company.

Hey, I am using M & V. I heard good things from friends that used them. And so far they have been great to work with. You just have to make sure that where ever you go you get everything in writing. I think you really need to check them out youself before deciding. You may have a better experience than someone else.

I just went to M&V last night and they seemed ok to me. My FI did notice that there cars were a little poorly kept but other than that the guy we dealt with was really nice. We are not using them because they are on the pricey side. We are looking to book the H2 Hummer.

Dynasty Limos so far have been wonderful to work with and their cars are immaculate. I would recommend calling them!

Let me say this - The employees were VERY nice at M&V - BUT THE CARS WERE CRAPPY....... All the specialty cars were bad - even the stretches..... So for there money they are not worth it...... BUT that is just my opinion.....

I don't think we're allowed to say 'Do not use' for any vendor. Everyone has different experiences.

The cars I booked at M&V are actually brand new. They have no rust and they didn't smell!!

Thank you all SO MUCH for your honest comments, they were very helpful! !!

There is something I do want to say about this type of post in general...in response to the comment that we are not allowed to criticize vendors (not really sure if thats what you meant) but, what is the point of this board if people do not post negative experiences as well as positive ones? If only glowing reviews are allowed then why even bother posting a question? When I post for information i am looking to make an informed decision and, most of all I want to know what vendors people do not like and why - because that is the most helpful to making an informed decision. Everyone is entitled to their own subjective opinion and that is just what it is, a subjective opinion. There are vendors i have used that I LOVE and have posted glowing reviews about while other people have responded with negative comments and that is FINE. The reader of the post can take it all in and make a decision for herself

We are also using Dynasty....They have been really nice, best price to me that I compared to others, and their cars seem fine...just in case you want to check them out too

Re: Any LIMO Co's you would NOT use?

I feel like you can post your reviews or experiences, but should not say 'DO NOT USE'. ESPECIALLY if it is a vendor that is on LIW.
Again, JMO

Re: Any LIMO Co's you would NOT use?

I am using M&V they are right down the road from me. So if no driver shows or is late I will walk down the block wedding gown and all and find someone to drive the limo!!
I feel if you don't like a vendor there is no need to rip them apart. I checked out the limos no rust no funky smells.
The boards are here for us to warn each other if there is a vendor that is not good. It doesn't require rude comments to be said. If you feel the need to say something rude than FM the person instead of scaring all the brides that have booked with the vendor in question. JMO not trying to start any problems!

I 100% agree with Kaangel. I really don't appreciate seeing a vendor that I booked being absolutely ripped apart in front of me because one person had a bad experience. It's really not fair.

It's not fair to the bride, and it's not fair to the vendor

Re: Any LIMO Co's you would NOT use?

I don't think you mean me, I don't think I ripped any vendor apart. Not telling anyone who to use and who not to use, just that I heard some poor things about M&V - but I did say that I'm sure plenty of girls have good things to say about them as well.
