Any my liw girls 'gardners'???

Hey girls,

So Im in need of some help. For our wedding, we are not doing traditional favors. Instead we are making a donation. However, I wanted to give everyone a little something. Since our wedding day is the first day of spring I was thinking of giving flower seeds as a little something - a little diy project. My question is - how far in advance can I buy the seeds, how are they packaged (can I just throw them in a small plastic bag), and how many seeds can I put per 'favor'?? Any help would be great!!!

Depends what kind of seeds ... for time and durability, but most will last a year from when they are dried, when you buy seeds they usually have expiration date.

You don't want to put it in plastic, but you want to keep water out, but let some air in.

I would put them in a tiny bundle of straw and into an organza bag this will help keep them aerated and dry.

But the best thing is to buy seed packets ready to go and just wrap with ribbon.

The bigger the seed the more durable it is and easier to grow, like sunflowers.

If your certain the seeds are treated, you can use sunflowers seeds, and have 2 favors in one, because they are not only edible but really tasty when they are uncooked.
