Any New Rochelle Weddings?

Well I feel like I am far behind all the other 08 brides. I have my hall booked and my dress but that is it. I am meeting with a florist this weekend. How is the planning coming for you? Do you have a DJ yet? Can you give me some names of DJ's in the New Rochelle area?

So- far so good. I was lucky because my sister got married a year before and I am using most of her vendors (liked them a lot). They aren't from New Rochelle but they obviously do serve the New Rochelle area.I would be more than happy to give you info- I'm at work right now so all my listings are at home . Sad to say but I know the vendors by name- not by their place of business name so I would have to look that up.

As for the Florist- I am starting to interview
so far my suggestions:

Arcadia Florist- Mamaroneck Ny
Westchester Floral

If I remember anything else I will let you know.

That's great that you were able to use your sisters vendors it kind of takes the stress out of having to interview peopel and wondering if you made the right choice. Thanks for the info on florists. I have an appointment with Westchester floral this weekend. I am going to call Arcadia today and see about setting something up.

Have you picked your dress yet?

It does take the stress out of interviewing. No still working on the gown shopping .

I found out the Dj info-

Next Generation Entertainment- Yorktown Heights- I always butcher that name.

Should have a website.

Mater of fact he did a wedding at the VIP club and thats what he showed us when we went in to sign the contract. (very nice)

I met w/Joe Shane as well. I'm getting married at the CV Rich Mansion in White Plains. He is really really nice and lots of my friends have used him actually, so did FSIL a few years ago, but I went with FM too!!! That's 2 Westchester weddings they have next year then, good for them.

I'm using Pearl River Florist in Rockland for my flowers, they're sooooooo reasonably priced and the lady is awesome, they came highly recommended.

ok never mind, cant find it. missliss, why dont you do the honors of starting an official Westchester thread since it was your idea.

My sister is a former New Rochelle Bride..LoL She got married at Glen Island Harbor Club!!!!!! LOVEEE that place!!!!

How nice- that place is also breathtaking.

I'm getting married in New Rochelle, Surf Club. So glad to see other Westchester brides

The only other thing we booked so far was photo/video. And I ordered my dress.

I know my hall recommends Westchester Floral and Odyssey, but I am not going to book that untila few months from now.

How nice- surf club. I'm down the street at Beckwith pointe. Isn't the view over there so beautiful. I know not too many westchester brides. I'm sure more will come up.
