I get along great with FMIL. FH and I have been dating since high school (over 7 years) and I really consider her like a second mother. We go get our nails done together every week.

i absolutely love love love my fmil, and fbil and ffil as well!!!!!! our families have known each other for years even before we dated. we are from the same town, his cousin and my brother are best friends. My dad goes golfing w/ fh's parents almost every weekend (mom doesnt golf lol)
my fmil and i share the same birthday, our personalities are so similar, and we even have the same flat spot on our head (dont ask hahaahah ).
I am very lucky, his family is so warm and wonderful and I know they all love me very much, and likewise for FH with my family, they love him more than me j/k.
We cant wait to do seating charts cause its gonna be so fun, anyone can go anywhere!

I really like my FMIL. Not only did she take us to see Wicked this weekend ($100/ticket) but for our trip to Cape Cod to see FH's grandparents, she made us salad, meatloaf, and stew from the South Beach cookbook so we'd have things we could eat. How nice is that?

I love my MIL! She is always there to help us and give us advice...I feel very lucky to have her!

ETA:I ADORE ALL of my in-laws: FIL, SIL, BIL, BIL that just passed away and 2 nieces.

I love my MIL! We get along so well. I love my FIL & SIL too. I got really lucky in the IL department. Our parents are even friends and hang out together.

I love my FMIL!!! We actually don't spend that much time together but I always feel completly at ease with her and have so from the beginning. Actually his entire family is great, not one thing I would change. FH says they like me better than him

I love my mother in law...but don't get me wrong she can get on my nerves sometimes.

My fmil is great and we get along really well. Of course there are things that annoy me and I am sure vice versa but sortof like any mother daughter relationship. His whole family is great. If you can believe it though my grandfather stopped talking to me when we started dating and nearly 6 years later has barely seen or spoken to FH. Hopefully will change after the wedding. It all started over a misunderstanding.

I LOVE mine- we do a lot of things together.

However, for the past 2 months my inlaws are becoming the biggest bridezillas.

Every decision I make warrants this big sit down or discussion. Don't get me worng , I love them but they have WAY TOO many opinions and requirements.

I think they will be back to normal after this wedding. ( I miss the old them ) They mean well-

It's weird, FMIL is VERY hard to read. FH insists that she absolutely loves me, but to this day, I'm still not so sure! I personally think she's wonderful, but we could work on our relationship a bit

I feel very lucky beacuse I love FH's whole family. They have been welcoming from the day we started dating. I am really looking forward to being a part of his family.

I get along very with with both of my MILs (FH's parents are both remarried).

My FMIL is a genuinely nice lady. And it's funny because we all live together in the house so I guess its a good thing we get along.

Glad to hear of all the girls who get along & love their MIL's.

I get irked when I see all the MIL bashing threads ... be thankful for what you have ... DH's mom passed away shortly after we got engaged. We were not 'close' but how can you not love the woman who brought the man you love into the world?

Just something to think about ... I'll jump down from my soapbox ... (Ok, so I just realized I am preaching to the choir )

I love mine! I feel like after about 6 months she treated me like I was her own daughter.

I do--we do get along really well--however, there are just some things she does that I dont agree with.........but we have gotten along since the day we met ----but boy can she talk, talk, and talk!
