I've been to a wedding at the cottage and we had my sister's bridal shower at the carriage house. The staff is very attentive and the food is delicious! I think it's one of the most beautiful places around!
We were looking into having it there, also, but the thing that turned us off was that they had no food tasting until like 1 month before the wedding! I asked the lady, well what happens if at that point you're disappointed in the food? She looked at me like I had 5 heads and said (very rudely), 'Well that has never happened to us before.' So that was the end of that for us LOL.
I went there for a wedding a few years back and it was very nice, attentive staff, good food, etc. and very inviting and warm
