My DFH is clueless about the time it takes to get things done for a wedding!!
He couldn't belive I started planning 13 mos in advance, and now with 5 mos to go - he somehow can't believe the things I left up to him are all boooked up!
He is somehow still clueless - he doesn't want to book a honeymoon now, he thinks it's too early!!! OMG!!!
Anybody else having this problem??

My fi is similar. We still have alot of planning but he could not believe we needed to book a hall when we did. He didn't believe me until we went to the hall and the month before ours...over a year and a half a way, was all booked!!! he would not take my word for it. That is why i do most of the planning and ask for his input. i dont want to leave anything up to him because he procrastinates!

Mine just doesn't have a clue - so I do it all as well. Just wondering if anyone else was in the same situation

My FH was surprised i started a year in advance --- so just take charge & always ask for his input. Get a wedding planners so you can write notes, phn# etc

I'm totally into helping my fw with the the wedding plans. I know it can be very stressfull on a bride, and i don't want her to do this on her own.

Yep! He says he'll do something, and then procrastinates until it's too late. It's less stress on me to just do it myself. He means well but he just does not understand how soon everything needs to be done - he always thinks we have more time.

I told my FI to take care of the honeymoon to Hawaii..we are getting married in 3 1/2 months and he still didn't book it. So yesterday I went to the travel agent and did all the work myself. Now the travel agent is holding the flights and hotels and he tells me that he's too busy to look over the information.
