Re: Any suggestions for shoes...
just wanted to say i'm going through the same thing...sorry i'm no help...but we are the SAME HEIGHT and with my heels i'm a good inch and a half over him. I want to return my shoes and get smaller heels.
Someone suggested that he get shoe lifts to boost him an inch or so, but he wasn't cool with that, lol

lol!! It must be something with their pride. Lots of guys supposedly wear lifts..even tall ones, to give them 'extra' height. No one would know he just felt weird knowing that people know he's shorter so how could he suddenly become taller? So funny. I am hoping to get a nice small heel this weekend...i call it a compromise (even though i love my shoes and want to wear them, sigh..)

My best friend (diamondgrlie) got hers at Craft Shoes in Commack - her DH is shorter than her too.

I think they are 2 inch heels. I'm just going to look for something with a one inch heel...hopefully they're out there.

Re: Any suggestions for shoes...
I dont wear heels because I have feet issues and I really don't need them since I am 5 ft 8. I searched the net and came up with these (a one inch heel):
My FMIL got me a pair of flat shoes at Sandy's Shoes in Massapequa they are on sunrise highway. They don't have any heel & they were $45. I also got heels there too--the flat shoes are to change into & they are so comfortable.

I love NINA shoes!!! She makes great shoes!!! These are ones that I ordered, they are dyeables. But I may not like when they come in. The girl says I don't have to buy them, if I don't like them. They didn't have my size at the moment, so she ordered them for me.

I'm taller than my FH, so these are the shoes I bought these at e-weddingshoes.com. They're 1' and only $49 now. I paid $69 for them
