I am very sympathetic to someone getting into an accident, but I also have my wedding in 3 weeks and I haven't heard from her. I have left messages and texts asking how she is doing and to find out info and nothing. I just want to know what is going on because if I never read that post how would I know she is hurt? I need to know if I have to scramble to find another florist. I'd rather her just call me back and let me know what to do. If she is unable to provide services due to her condition I understand, just let me know! I gave her a huge chunk of money too. A tragedy can always strike, but when you have a business you have to inform your customers of what is going on whether you can provide services or not. So if anyone hears from her, please FM me. This is really sad. I hope someone FMs you or that Gina herself gets back to you soon. However, I would start looking for a back-up plan immediately and worry about the money you've already spent on Gina later.

This whole situation makes me sick to my stomach, I am not using Gina but my good friend (one of my BMs and fellow LIWer) has her booked for her Oct 29th wedding. She is so stressed about the situation and doesn't know what to do. I can't believe this Gina lady

I would've booked another florist the minute I heard the flowers or the florist was a complete no-show to a wedding.
I'm sorry but Business is Business - anyone who runs a business should have safeguards in place in case an emergency arises...There's no excuse why should couldn't have had someone else make a simple phone call or e-mail to the brides that flowers would not be forthcoming that day or the day after....

I totally agree! Well not only because of this flower thing but other stressors that go along with planning. I should have went Vegas style and got married in the little white chapel lol

So sorry you have this added stress on you at this point in wedding planning.
I would just call around and get some pricing/availability from florists while keeping a log of emails/messages you'd made to Gina in case you need to get your money back if you decide to go with another florist. I would send her emails/texts etx clearly stating that if she does not communicate with you, you are taking it as a breach in contract and you will be taking your business elsewhere and expect a full refund.
I really hope it works out

Thanks! Yea I am trying to give her the benefit of the doubt because she has been very responsive prior to this and I felt very comfortable because she always seems to care. But yea I might just have to start on Plan B.

The fact that Gina had been ignoring her calls for weeks, and the fact that people have been trying to get in touch with her and she doesnt respond, but brides who's weddings are far far far in the future have been in constant contact with her. It does't sit well with me at all.
And I keep hearing how she only does one wedding at a time, but then I saw a thread where 2 different people said they were booked with her on the same day! (Queen Peach is one of them I think).

right...not everyone is as crazy as we are to sit on here and talk to each other every day my sil has an account on here (09 bride) and she never used it but she's not a sketchy vendor or anything like that
to the op... i would start calling around to florists and explain your situation to them. try going to local florists who won't need as much advanced notice (you'll still have to give them 1.5 to 2 weeks notice to order the flowers) as wedding florists would

Wait, what?? This is crazy!!! I'm not using Gina but I did get a quote from her and went to visit her and she assured me she only does one wedding at a time!! The plot thickens to this whole crazy story
