Has anyone booked a wedding at the Vanderbilt Mansion? We just booked and are looking for info anyone has.

Hello Gabrielle,
On June 20, 2006 I received an email from Maryann from Vanderbilt Mansion stating they were not booking events pass 12/31/06. They are referring me to Lovin Ovens. By chance, do you know if they are back to booking events. I notice that you are having your event there in 2007.
Any info would help.

Lovin Oven is backing out of the Vanderbilt. I think I got the last available date for 07'. They will do any that they have booked through 07' but Lessings is taking over.
Did you have a tentative date with Maryann? If so they will prob still book you.

i don't know much about the mansion itself but i am a lovin oven bride (flowerfield) and have been to two of their showcases (for just their brides, once a year-- one at FF and one at Land's End)... they were both fantastic. the food was great, the service was REALLY nice and everything was so good that i was very happy knowing i'll be having my wedding there. i have heard nothing but good things about anything lovin oven does-- so i'm sure you have nothing to worry about

My ceremony is at the vanderbilt mansion in 2007. It's the one in Centerport so I don't know if that makes a difference?

I'm not a vanderbuilt bride but I am a Lands End bride!! Lovin Oven is really great I have also been to their vendor showcase back in Feb...great food...great service!!!
