not have an e-party? I never did and I'm so into wedding planning i feel it would be a waste of money

I didn't have an eparty and i'm not having one either...instead FH are going to have a joint wedding shower which will kind of be set up like an engagement party...i'm going to have a seperate lingerie shower also, just for us girls....

I didn't have one and I am not planning on having one either. Just not something we were interested in.

Im not having a big party, just a dinner. I want to focus on the wedding and put more into that than the eparty

I didnt. I feel like how many parties can I have? I am completely happy with a bridal shower and a wedding.

We went out to an engagement dinner too at Pace's Steakhouse in Hauppauge! It was INCREDIBLE!!!!! It was just my FMIL, FFIL, FSIL, FBIL me and FH. We had a fancy bottle of champagne with tons of drinks, good food and great company!

I felt the need to share! LOL

I didn't have one. My sister said that I should have one to get a little extra money but I sent out the STDs already. And I had two years before I started to plan for my wedding. I regret it but at the same time I was doing it all by myself. But all I care about now is getting married. So if you don't want to have one it's totally ok. Did I just say Totally I think I did. weird. HTH.

we are having one next week.......his parents had one for his sister and told us that they would do the same for us.......they had a limit of what they could spend and of course it went over and me and fh are picking up the tab......so the party is actually costing us a lot of money lol......its a lot more stressful than i would have imagined.....hopefully it ends up being a really nice night and i am sure we will enjoy ourselves but its def very hectic - especially since its next weekend!! i actually cant wait for it to be over!! when you are throwing it for yourself like we basically are its pretty good practice for planning a wedding!!

i'm not having one, don't really feel the need. i think e-parties aren't really necessary if you're not into it, but if someone wanted to throw one for us, i'd be totally into it, but i'm not dying for it.

i think they are a nice way to get the families together before the wedding.....our parents know eachother but our aunts and uncles and cousins never met......so i think its a nice opportunity for everyone to meet and mingle....jmo

I didn't have an eparty. I wouldnt have minded one, and my parents offered to pay for one but FH was so against it. He felt the money they put into the eparty could be used towards something for the wedding. Since we're paying for the whole thing he figures take their money to help out a bit. And i agreed with him, so we didnt have one. Even thought I sometimes wish I did b/c i see these other girls parties and it looked like so much fun!

FMIL asked if i wanted one (guess she wanted to start contributing something). i told her we didn't need one. our families have small get togethers here and there, so we would have a chance to celebrate with people. plus, i don't want people to feel they need to bring gifts. if someone wants to give me an engagement gift that's their decision. it would also just be another thing to plan, worry about and spend money on! i dont want to offend anyone that had or is having one. it just wasn't a big deal for me.

I did a post like this a while back. I felt like all i herd was ppl and there engagment parties.

But no we are not having one. Unless someone would like to throw one for us
