go to youtube.com and type in photoshop help there are dozens of videos to teach you how to do anything with photoshop, I use it all the time, its the only way i can figure out how to use the program. HTH

if photoshop doesnt work.. not sure how big you want your collage but snapfish does poster size collages.. think up to 30 photos.. its a new thing.. just got the email the other day..

Do you just want the pictures layered on top of one another like a traditional collage? Doesnt sound hard at all but maybe our minds are not on the same page. Do you have an example of what you want it to look like?

I've never used the Elements program, but in standard Photoshop I would put the pics on different layers and then move them around.

Exactly-I have elements and do all sorts of cool blended work with it-just a matter of knowing how to use layers and opacities. Start with a large format like 8x10 and then start piling them one atop the other. If you want to add in pics of other thinsg representative of you, you can do that too.

See Photoshop is lost on me- I don't get the layers thing at all! I was losing my mind trying to figure it out last night!!
See the reason I wanna do a collage is I love too many of these epics and want to fit a bunch on one side of the 8x10 frames in the cardbox!
I can't really decide on one 8x10 for the other side of the frame- it's gonna have to be a vertical pic...I'm figuring it'll be a fairly closeup of the two of us, with me sitting on his lap. Maybe this one- it just stinks that most of the ones I love are horizontal.

yep, you can save a ppt file as a jpg. That's how I'm doing my picture table numbers!!!
So you want an 8x10 collage. I make the page 2-3 times the size that I want the final print to be (since when you save the file as a jpg it loses some quality). I'd recommend you open a new file, make the page dimensions 16x20 or 24x30 inches. Then insert the pictures you want to use and size them however you want. Maybe add borders to them so that it looks like they're matted.
When you're happy with the way it looks, save the file as a ppt file. That way if you need to make any changes later, you have the original file. THEN go to 'Save As' and in the file type, choose jpg. Voila!
Upload your pic to Shutterfly or kodak gallery or whatever, and there you have your 8x10 collage print.
