Don't get me wrong, I can't wait to marry FH and will definitely take his last name. But, I'm having 'last name withdrawal' already. I will definitely morn my last name, and feel a little like I'll be losing my identity. I've had that name for 30 years.

not really - i just have one of those hard to pronounce hard to spell last names and FH is simple so its easier for me. I just think its a pain to switch it - all the paperwork etc.

My whole life, I couldn't wait to change my last name. But if its possible I hate FH's last name more But I will be changing it

I get weirded out a little bit thinking about changing my name...Because I'll probably keep forgetting that I changed it...I'll be at the doctors office and theyll be calling me to go in and I'll sit there 'Oh yeh!!! Thats me!!!'

Not sad at all. I hate my last name, always have, it rhymes with way too many things and is hard to pronounce and spell... FH's is easy and short!
