Anybody spending less than $5000....

on your HM? If so...where are you going? We can't afford to spend a lot but still want to have a nice HM....suggestions?

Did you look into Aruba? We booked an all-inclusive with airfare for $3600. My mom's been to Aruba in October and spent much less than that!

No...I haven't yet...do you need a passport for Aruba? I'm definitely gonna look into it! Do you know of any nice hotels you would recommend?

mine was 5500 but we upgrade our room. were going to Excellence riviera maya. and we got insurance

without the extras you could probably get it under 5000

YES !! 7 nights/8 days in St.Lucia all inclusive including air fare for 5K - I think you can plan a fabulous hm for under 5K Check out Sandals website - you can pick resort/length of stay and se what the prices are - perhaps a jamaica location so the airfare is not too much. What about Mexico ? Give us some ideas about what you like.

We are- we are going on a 7-day cruise & spending 3 days in South Beach- we have a suite on the boat too!

Were going to Hawaii and spending $6000 for 10 days. You can always take lesser days. Like 7. Or what about a cruise or to aruba or one of the islands?

8 days/7 nights at the Dreams Resort in Puerto Vallarta (all-inclusive resort)...for a little over $3000

It would have been even less expensive if we didn't upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi

we went to san juan puerto rico and had a great time, 7 days at intercontiental hotel and aire was $2700.00

We got a great price for Aventura Spa Palace (see pics in album), for around $3500 (all inclusive) with airfare for 8 days.... Riviera Maya. mexico

Yep. I didnt want to go over 5K either but I wanted to go to Italy. I think for like 4k you can get 7 days in Italy, airfare, rail tickets, breakfast and like 1 or 2 tours. BUT It's for off peak season, before May 26th and after Labor day.

I didnt mind waiting 3 weeks to go on our HM because we saved about $1500 on airfare.

FH and I went there - soooooooooooooooooooo much better than Sandals.

Loved Aventura!!!!!!!!! We want to go back again and again and again!

I'm staying at Riu in Aruba- which is a more expensive hotel and we have a suite with an ocean view balcony! Believe it or not- we booked on Travelocity! Just happened to check it and the price was really inexpenvise. Keep checking it everyday and try to be a bit flexible with the exact dates of travel. Also, another great website is cheapcaribbean.com- great deals!
