I loveeeed Kleinfelds

I worked with Rosaria and she was very helpful...and told the truth about how i looked ..she even tried to get me to buy the cheaper dress ( even though i didnt want it)

the dresses are expensive defin out of my price range but my nana paid for most of it so i was lucky

all depends on what u are looking for

i say defin go ...its a great experience!

I had the absolute best experience at kleinfelds...I was never asked about my budget, never was pressured, they were far from pushy...Judith lerner helped me and Elise the manager was there most of the time and they were seriously the nicest people...Judith was even trying to help me save at first and to look at the less expensive options first before i tried on the more expensive dresses lol...They went above and beyond to help me...infact the dress i did end up buying, elise picked it out from the back and said she knew what would go perfect...they helped with color that was best for me, design and everything.

They couldve had an easy sell with me with a dress that was just a little more expensive than mine, bc i was ready to buy it but they convinced me that the other one looked better on me...Judith even said, listen you dont think it'd be easier for me to sell you the other dress, but my job is to be honest and get the best dress for the bride, and she did...when i went back the following week, i LOVED the dress i ended up buying and so glad i listened to them...they were just as helpful when i came back the 2nd time

I had a great time at Kleinfeld's, although I didn't buy my dress there. I went in knowing I wasn't going to buy my dress right then and there, and I think that helped. I did feel pressured to look at and try on more expensive dresses, and I do feel that they were complimenting me on dresses that I probably shouldn't wear.

However, they were super nice, and just by going there it opened my eyes to different dress styles. I don't think any dress shopping trip is wasted because it's better to get exposed to all these different styles and designers before dropping a ton of money on a dress. Plus, when else am I going to have a $6,000 dress on my body!

As a side note, the dress I ended up buying came to $1,100 and I never felt bad about trying on these crazy expensive gowns and buying something less. I honestly love my dress more than any of the other ones I tried on.

Love, Love, Love Kleinfelds... Debbie helped me when I first went looking and she was AMAZING! She knew exactly what would look good on me. I just had my first fitting a couple of weeks ago (can't remember her name), but she was great. Even the owner stopped in to say Hello and give me some tips on wearing the gown. I think EVERY Bride should get their dress here. You feel like a Princess!

I had my best experience at Kleinfeld and that is where I ultimately got my dress. I worked with Audrey who I would highly recommend. She is very helpful and she didn't pressure me to buy on the spot.

I had a very good experience there- I didn't buy a gown there and they all were still very sweet to me and my family. I worked with Lea Taylor.

I had a good experience there as well. I wound up buying my dress elsewhere because it was a few hundred dollars cheaper, but I had no complaints. It is good to go to a place that has a lot of things to try. As far as price range, if you are the type of person that is going to try something on, fall in love with it, and be sad if it is out of your price range, making it hard to find another dress (my cousin did this, and she couldnt find anything else she wanted after trying a dress out of her range) then it might be a bad idea. They were super-nice to me, and I think the same is true of a lot of other girls in here, but I went in there with a few dresses I wanted to try and they were all in the 3-5K price range so I think they assumed I would be spending a certain amt. I'm not sure if it made a difference.

My SIL bought her gown there when it was still in Brooklyn. I got my BM dress for her wedding there too, and of all the weddings I have been in, I have to say that Kleinfelds gave me the best alterations. Really nice staff too.

I also had a really good experience at Kleinfelds. I worked with Camille Coffey and she was a sweetie. No pressure at all and very honest. She wasn't afraid to offer her opinion about what was flattering on me and once I told her I didn't like a dress, she took it out of the room without a question.

Well, I did not have a good experience there at all. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I told the salesgirl which designers I liked & she brought me 2 of those dresses and that's it. They had a trunk show that day & she only showed me dresses by that designer even though I told her that I did not care for that designer.
I guess it makes a difference who you book an appt with.
I ended up buying my dress at Priscilla of Boston in Roslyn. They were really nice and helpful.

I do think thats the biggest thing, who you book with...Unfortunately there are people who work at places that give a place a bad reputation and thats with any place.

I've heard great things about Kleinfelds but I was disappointed with my appointment. I didnt have a good experience either. I think it had to do with my saleslady. She kept on pushing a dress at me and went above what I told her I wanted to spend. Then we got into a nasty argument over the price of the dress. I saw right through her because I tried on the exact same dress at another salon and was quoted $1500 less for it. When I caught her on it she got extremely defensive.

So left there and went up Madison Ave.

I bought my dress there and had an awesome experience!! I worked with Blanca and the last dress she picked for me was the one i bought which I wouldve never picked it out myself and i LOVE lOVE LOVE it!!! I decided not to buy that day and they were ok with it and actually told me to come back for the designers trunk show. Then i went back 2 days later and got to speak with the designer and make a few adjustments to the dress. she measured me herself and talked to me about everything so im positive everything will be perfect. It was a great experience. It was definitely more than i planned to spend but worth every penny!! Definitely check out what they got.
