on Loestrin 24 Fe??

I went to the doc for the first time.. and she gave me Loestrin 24 Fe.. b/c I scheduled to get my period on my wedding day!! No matter how many different ways I crunch the numbers, I'll have it on 5/31..

I just googled Loestrin and the things I found was not too good.. I'm terrified of taking this pill.. I've worked so hard to lose weight and I'm scared to pack on lbs.. also worried about mood swings.. I'm already going nuts thinking about it..

anyone on it? any words of advice..

I personally did not like being on it so I switched. I turned into a raging hormonal b*%$#. Plus I felt bloated all the time and barely got a period which I guess is good on one hand but on the other- I constantly worried I was pregnant. I need to see the proof if you know what I mean! but honestly you have to try it out. There are some girls on here who love it. Everyone is different. give it 3 months to get a true feeling on it. HTH!

I'm on it! and honestly I have had NO side effects..no weight gain, no mood swings! i love it! I only get my period for 3 days and its super light!!hope it works as well for you also!

i'm just keeping my fingers crossed.. i would like aunt flo to be a week off in april.. then i wouldn;t have to worry..

I am on it and have been since august...i love it...there is no bloating, i have not gained weight and i have no side effects at all...i have been on many pills over the years and this is my favorite...give it a chance, i was terrified at what i read as well, but everyone is different

I have been on it for almost a year now...and I LOVE it...I think its the greatest pill there is. I didnt have any side effects, and my period is really light and I only get it for like 2 days (which is a pleasure) Try it for yourself. And if you really dont want a period at all there is a way that you can take the pills to skip the month entirely...I did this a few times when I was going on vacation and it works...

i have been on it since last march. i have a headache on the sunday before i start a new pack. i don't get my period anymore. i am supposed to get it, if i were to get it on around may 31 too, so i am going to skip the last week in my next pack of pills. already asked the doctor and he said ok. the nurse at my gynecologist said she doesn't even take the placebos.

the doc told me to take all the white pills.. from the sunday i get it.. skip the brown ones.. i think she called sugar pills.. not sure.. and then start the next pack right away without a break.. i'll be on the pill for 48 days straight..

i so appreciate your comments ladies.. i can't begin to say how much..

if i have to take it.. i will, but i'm still hoping.. i honestly could careless but.. it's a forsaken cultural taboo to have your period during religious events.. my family could careless but god forbid someone nosy finds out.. it'll be talk of the town..
