Anyone been/going to Tahiti, Moorea or Bora Bora?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has been to or is planning on going to Tahiti, Moorea or Bora Bora?

I'm leaning towards going there for the honeymoon...any advice would be appreciated!

We're going to Tahaa and Bora Bora for a week, then off to New Zealand for the second week of our HM. We booked through moonrings.com, but if we were just doing French Polynesia, we probably would have used Costco. Not much advice to give, since we haven't yet gone, but I have heard that you def. want to do an overwater bungalow on Bora Bora, and also that the resorts on the motus are nicer. The premier properties on Bora Bora are the Nui and Hotel Bora Bora. Good luck!

Have you used costco before for travel? What has been your experience with that?

No, I haven't used them. But if you go to the honeymoon chat board on theknot, you will see that a *lot* of brides have used them for French Polynesia trips and have had very good experiences. At least worth a call...

we went to tahiti, moorea and bora bora for 11 days. it was PARADISE! i can't say enough good things about it .. we were in awe of how gorgeous it is. there's been al ot of tahiti threads lately, so you might want to do a search. i know there's a recent one on the newlywed board. let me know what specific questions you have .. i have tons of answers
