Re: Anyone care to share some names?

Not having a child for a few years, but we want for a Amanda Hunter or for a Derek we are not sure on the middle name for the boy, whoever gets here first , will get the middle name Hunter. The A is for my Mom , the D is for my grandmother, and the H is for my dad who have all passed away. In the Jewish religion you honor your children with the names of close relatives that have passed on using there first initial.

For a boy(s):

Re: Anyone care to share some names?

Jenn- that happens ALOT!!!! You can have a name stuck in your head & when you look at the baby you go NO that's not it!! (Sort of what Rachel did on Friends) I was stuck for YEARS on 2 names 1 my Fi shot down! So we made it our son's middle name (it's my last name) so I felt we honored my Father we have to honor his. And beleive me you look a my son & you just see a Patrick!! (Ok some old ladies in the stores tell me she's so pretty but we're trying to let that go!!!)

Re: Anyone care to share some names?

Obviously, we had a boy, so we chose Paul Robert (after his grandfathers - as is a very Italian tradition). If the baby had been a girl, she would have been called Isabella Rae. Rae is short for my maternal grandmother, whose name is Rafaella. Isabella is just a favorite for us, and it's an added bonus to call her 'Bella' for short, which means beautiful in Italian.

Our second choice for a girl was Emma.

Re: Anyone care to share some names?

You all have beautiful names picked out!

Being we only have 4 months to go, DH and I need to get cracking with choosing a name! We had an ultrasound and the technician ~~THINKS~~ it's a girl, but we really don't know for sure.
For a boy, we like:
*Andrew Michael
Nicholas Michael
Austin Michael
(Michael is DH's name)

For a girl, we like:
*Emma Grace
Kaylie, Kaylee or Kayleigh Grace
Olivia Grace
We also like Ava, Layla, Lindsay...

It's SO hard! Any opinions on these names would be appreciated! :) THANKS!

melissa

Re: Anyone care to share some names?

I love them all! My 2 favorites have to be Andrew Michael and Kayleigh Grace (although Olivia Grace is a close second!) You picked a lot of less common girls names, which I like.
It's funny, but being a teacher there are some names that I see year after year, and then I don't like them any more. That ruins a lot of great names for me, such as Emily, Sara, Kaitlyn, Hayley, Taylor, Jake, Jack, Matthew, and Dylan. Anyone else feel that way? That after seeing a name SO many times it kind of loses it's appeal, no matter how much you liked it??

Re: Anyone care to share some names?

I don't think we are ready to TTC just yet (hopefully this summer), however, we have been naming our children for some time now. It changes a lot, but right now the choices are:

Audrey Grace

Andrew (haven't decided on a middle name)

Re: Anyone care to share some names?

JennRenee...I am also a teacher, and could never use the names Mason, Cody, Eric, Tyler, Samantha, Cassidy, Jenna...the list goes on and on!! Isn't it funny how that happens??

melissa

PS Chmlengr....Audrey Grace used to be one of our top choices until DH was reminded of a former classmate that he hated! :) I love that name though.

Re: Anyone care to share some names?

For a boy we've decided on James, but not sure of the middle name.
For a girl I have lots of favorites, but have not chosen just one yet.
DH is Irish and I'm Indian but born here.

Cassidy
Tara
Asha (Indian)
Anjali (Indian)
'A' in both names pronounced like 'ahhh'

We're leaning towards 'Tara Anjali'

Others I love:
Julia
Emily
Lily
Emma

Love Austin for a boy but I think Emma is going to be very, very common since Rachel/Ross named their daughter Emma on Friends. I love Grace.

I really like the name Halle or Hailey for a girl.

For a boy- I like the name Jarren and my husband likes Cole Hunter.

It is hard to come up with a name you both love...

Re: Anyone care to share some names?

We are TTC right now and have had names for awhile but of course like some of you have said it can change the minute you see that baby's face

For a boy:
Jackson Colby (not totally set on middle name)

For a girl:
Ella Louise (because DH and I love Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong -- they sang our wedding song 'Our Love Is Here to Stay').

If we had another girl I wanted to name her after my Grandmother Karolina who passed away when I was 12 and call her Karoline and my mother whose name is Angelika. But who knows!
