Anyone care to share some names?
If we were having a boy - we new the namehowever, I find a girls name so much harder.
I have gone through name books and I can't seem to find one that seems like it's the 'one'
Does anyone feel like this - do you find it more difficult to pick a girls name?
I would like to have an irish name but can't seem to find one I like enough -
is it that the preasure is not on yet? Will I find one in month 9?
does anyone else have the names picked?

Re: Anyone care to share some names?
Im not pg yet, but thats all i can think is girls names!! LOL..I am using :
Marie Sara (after my grandma)
i also love
Grace Ann
Rachel Laura
Sara Nicole
For a boy I could only think of one name
Nicolas (however my FIL's name is Nicolas, and he is estranged from my DH since he was 5, so there are bad feelings there and doesnt want the name.. understandable)

Re: Anyone care to share some names?
I am not pg yet either, however, the name I love for a little girl (which is irish) is Kaleigh Erin. I won't be naming my daughter that b/c I want to name her after my grandmother who passed away this year(Katherine Mary) and call her Kate. I think Kate and Kaleigh are too similar. My name is also very irish: Shannon Marie. Kelly is also a very irish name that I like. Well, enough bable...good luck!

Although my mothers says not to go buck-wild trying to pick out a name, b/c the first time you see that child - you'll know the right name!

Re: Anyone care to share some names?
I guess it is a trend because if I am blessed with a daughter (someday) I will name her after my 2 grandmothers who meant the world to me. They both passed away almost 4 years ago within 3 months of each other. Eva Mary will be my little's one names.Scott and I also love the name Amy. I love Cassidy and/or Kassie. Grace is beautiful. Elizabeth is one of my favorite names.
For a boy we chose Sean Wagner. Wagner was my maternal grandparents last name. My grandfather was my grandmother's 2nd husband and never had his own birth children so no one in our family has his last name. So I am going to have his last name as our son's middle name.

Re: Anyone care to share some names?
Michele31, Katherine Mary is also after my 2 grandmothers who passed.....We have the same taste b/c I love Cassidy too! I also like Hannah and Grace, my DH knew 2 girls that had a reputation in HS named Grace and Hannah so he said he can't name his daughters that! Crazy, I know!

Re: Anyone care to share some names?
We were the same way. Good thing we had a boy. I was going to offer up the name Tara, which is an Irish name I love but I am assuming you thought of that one already
I wanted the name Ryan for a girl but DH was on the fence with it up till the end. Ryann is the feminine Celtic version (pronounced the same as Ryan) but there are a few variations: Ryan, Ryen, Ryanne. I was leaning towards Ryan Michelle. Other names we liked (OK, I liked): Aileen, Kiera (also can be spelled Kiara, Kiera, Keira), Colleen (there's a few more Irish ones for you), . Dh liked Caroline. We both liked Laura.Hope this helps. I know exactly what you are going through. I found myself scouring every magazine for names to hope something would click for both of us

SO FAR ~ we like Aislinn or Alessia for a girl, and Caden Patrick or Trevor Patrick for a boy. I guess we'll starting discussing names more in depth when we have a reason to...

Re: Anyone care to share some names?
irish names I loveShea, it is so simple but I love it as a middle name. Like Olivia Shea. I also love Leary for a girl. Molly is so cute, especially if you are a Mc, like Molly Mcnamara. i love the name Ireland. My family is full of Colleens, Kathleens, and my brother is Reilly. If I go with an irish name I want it to be more original.
