Hey if you want to change into flats during the reception........wouldn't that make the hem of your dress be too long?
Should you get the dress hemed shorter and split the difference?
i can't believe this problem just occured to me

Re: anyone changing shoes
I got flip flops that were a platform. They were extra comfy and it gave me just the height I needed. I got them at Sandys in Massapequa.

Re: anyone changing shoes
I wore 3.5 inch heels and made it until 11:30pm - then changed into flat slippers. By that time I didn't care! Hate to tell you - but your dress is filthy by that point anyway.

Re: anyone changing shoes
I changed into flip flops... In hind sight, I should have skipped the dressy shoes altogether and went to my fittings in the flips... I tripped on my gown a few times that night but it didn't stop me from having a great time.

winter white-- thanks!! I've been trying to look for shoes and I started out looking for a 2 inch heel and saw nothing I liked. everything was so 'bridally' so I started looking in DSW and department stores and online and found stuff I liked!! and then I saw #1 on Nordstroms.com in case you're interested they are called Barbra and and I really like #2 also. what color are thinking for #2? do they come in a dyeable? I saw them in the DSW in Westbury in Ivory.
