I want to do something for my mom, give her a moment...My plan was to have her and my father walk me down the aisle but when I brought this up to them recently she said no that is your dads moment, she doesn't want to take away from that and wants it all to be for him.
I just watched a video of the bride who danced with her father and mother and I definitely want to do the same...curious who else will do this? and if so what song are you using...I was thinking of the song because you loved me-by celine dion for the father daughter dance but i think i would use this instead to dance with my mother and use another song with my dad...any other suggestions
BTW i just listened to wind beneath my wings and after listening to it all i decided against it

yeah i just have to do something for just her at the wedding, and since the whole both walking me down the aisle thing didn't go well lol, i figured this is the best thing to do

Since my father is deceased I am dancing with my mom...
I have a few songs in my mind, but I don't know yet....
But that's a definite thing.
She's also walking me down the isle....

I will have both my parents walk me down the aisle. It's a filipino thing. But i wouldn't have it any other way.

I'm having my cousin and his wife walk me down the aisle since both my parents are deceased- it's a Jewish wedding. Originally it was going to be my great-uncle and great-aunt - unfortunately my uncle passed away a few months ago. I figured the best choice would be his older son and his wife.. I'm a bit nervous about asking them.
I think it's great that you're doing this for you mother.

I cant tell you how many songs I listened to and nothing fit and I also didnt want wind beneath my wings

NO i am still dancing with my dad too, ill dance with him first, but after i wanna dance with my mom to a different song...I would never take this away from my father

my friend danced w/ her mom and they danced to 'You Raise Me Up' by Josh Groban, it was beautiful, there wasn't a dry eye in the place.

I want to do something special for my mom too but I havent decided yet on what that special something is going to be. It'll probably just end up being a dance but I want to try and think of something else unique and different.
