I asked DH if we could decorate tommorow. We aren't even fully unpacked but I only have 1 free day between now and New Years!

DH and I Christmas! We haven't gotten our tree yet, but last week I came home and he had everything else done! Our nativity scene was out on display, he even went and bought fake snow to put under the Charlie Brown set!! I love this man!!!

We haven't decorated yet. I am gonna try and do the inside little by little this week and then do the outside this weekend. I am not going crazy because it's our first year. I will go to the after Christmas sales to stock up on decorations for next year.

We did the inside yesterday--2nd year was a little easier b/c now we know where stuff goes--not to mention, we actually have stuff. Not sure what we're doing to the outside. We renovated outside over the summer so they'll be no staple gunning lights and garland to the door frame this year.
We re-did the outside of our house too,so I'm with ya on the NO staplle gunning thing.

kinda started but didn't get very far I helped my mom decorate the day after thanksgiving -- so my parents are all set but not us. I love decorating the day after thanksgiving.....gets you in the spirit. we need some holiday spirit around here......time to put up the tree

no =( im so excited to but since we just got back from the HM and we are moving into our new apartment next weekend we are just going to wait. We move in Saturday morning and sat night we are going to get our tree - i cant wait!

ALMOST DONE! the wreath is up, the mini trees (for our bay windows) are decorated and on the sills, and our tree is up.
the only thing left to do is put the traditional food on the tree (germans always put cookies and chocolate ornaments up...... sometimes I being german )

We have our electric menorah out and we put our hannukah garland up...that's it...our house looks like an atomic bomb hit it!

We're not decorating at all this year :(
Between the final week of wedding prep, the wedding itself, the HM and the drive back to the midwest we'll be away from the house for almost a month. Four cats + tree = disaster. A hilarious disaster, but a disaster nonetheless!

My MOH and her boyfriend came by and the four of us (with DH) decorated the house and put up the tree.
