I will only have a few singles there and it seems as though most people are shy and must be dragged out. Shouldn't I just skip it and spare them??

We skipped the Garter toss.
but we did the BoK toss!!!! I had the same problem with only having a few single friends at the wedding. so we had all the Women asked to come out on the floor Single or Married.....well, let me tell you. All the married women ran to the floor (which made the single women feel more compfortable) ..and it was a lot of fun.
The Married Woman loved the chance to catch it again!
