Been considering it. Sounds kinda cool. I'd want mine as a wish tree/guest book

Anyone DIYing their CP's?
I wanted to but what I want has a big set up and I don't want to rely on the hall to do it for me.... Although I would be saving almost $1800

Anyone DIYing their CP's?
Edited to add some inspiration pics. What do you guys think? The only problem is I am not sure who will be able to set them up the day of. Do you guys think I should hire a DOC?

Re: Anyone DIYing their CP's?
I did my own CPs, a florist is coming in to add flowers to some of the CPs... but I hired a DOC so she could specifically set that stuff & all of my other decorations up. I didn't want myself or my family to have to worry about it being set up correctly!

I also made my own centerpieces. I did hire a DOC to set the up, and the florist will be adding a few flowers. This is what they look like without the flowers.

I want to do my own manzanita branches with crystals and flowers but I don't know where to start. I have been searching videos on youtube and it doesn't seem that hard. Anyone else doing their own CP's?
Love these pictures. They look awesome, especially the first one. Looks easy to put together but the best part is that your guests will never know you DIYed.

Aren't they so nice? I plan on doing something very similar and I'd rather save the money towards something else! These florists charge you so much for something that can be done yourself if you have people helping you.

My CPs? They are tall twisted white willow branches that we cut in half. Then we put rubber bands on clear vases and sprayed them with frost paint. The filler is just clear gels from Michaels. Then we put little lights in the gel to make it light up. Our wedding is at night and we're having uplighting, so I figured I'd rather spend the money on the light effect than flowers. The lights will stand out more. Edit: I have a few more pics in my 'DIY' album.

They look very pretty good job :) Where did you get the willow branches from? I might incorporate them with the manzanita to make it look fuller.
