i was thinking about having my bridesmaids dressed be black. any feedback? my wedding in nov 04.

I was in a bridal party where the dresses were black on top and white on the bottom (fitted black velvet strapless on top and a-line ivory satin to the floor)...i thought it would look wierd but it ended up being so BEAUTIFUL and ELEGANT and the pictures looked fantastic

here is my black and white wedding party, I loved it! The dresses were WAY affordable, everyone could wear them again, no one even had to buy new shoes! (nevermind the turkey and the chicken....beware of taking pics at EAB in the fall...)
A lot of people ponder the thought of having a black(& white) wedding . . .but that photo should be the poster child of why black is such a cool color!
My girls are wearing black! And now I'm more excited than ever . . .thanks 2 you!

I'm also doing a black and white wedding. My MOH will be in black, my jr. bridesmaid will be in black and white, the best man will have a black tie and vest and the groom will have a white tie and vest. I am so excited to do this! Good luck to you!

I'm thinking of doing the same thing-black and white. I'm getting married in march (04) and I wasn't sure if the colors were too dark for that time of year. I'm just gonna look for dresses that I like and then figure out the color.

I'm doing black and white. My MOH's are wearing black and the BM's are wearing black with white on the back. I think it will look great and everyone can wear the dresses again and get any shoes they want. Your BM's will thank you for it!!

I am doing a black and white, my wedding is in Sept 04, and i am getting alot of positive feedback, ecspecially from my BM they can wear them again. I love the look, good luck !
