I am doing it through a lighting company. I love the effect and knew I had to have it!

We didn't do uplighting, but then again our room had floor to ceiling windows on 3 sides and on the fourth side were the doors to the common area which we left open. I was also at a wedding where the uplighting actually detracted from the nice room, which had a very classic look to it with lots of large windows and the uplighting didn't look right. I think uplighting would work if your room was more of a ballroom, lacking lots of windows, etc. then uplighting could make a difference.

our DJs own their lights and all of their equipment - not sure of the price (my DH works with the DJ's we had so they went above and beyond for us at no charge) but i think we had 36 lights around the dome room at JT - it looked really nice - i thought it looked really good in our pictures and also in our video!

Ours were $55 per light, for 12 lights.

I just got a quote from a Dj for $40 dollars a light?? Is that alot ??? I will need 15 that really adds up.

FM did my lighting last Saturday for my wedding and it was worth every penny!!!!!!!! People are still commenting on it!! FM if you have any questions!!

we are def doing uplighting...fh is an electrician so you know how they love those lights lol ....im not sure on how much they are---we have a package for 3500 i think and thats everything (dj , percussionist , uplighting , gobo,etc)

My Dj doesn't offer it because he is not a typical wedding dj but I have 4 appointments with florists this week coming up and they all offer it so my goal is to get it...I want the room all purple! I hope it isn't stupid expensive!!!
