Anyone doing WW???

Wanna share recipes and ideas?? I just started yesterday and its been hard, but I have been doing okay. I bought the WW cookbook and have found tons of great recipes that are easy and delicious. I have this recipe for a really great 6 point lasagna...if anyone is interested, I can share it. It really kept me full for dinner with some 0 point veggies (and I am ALWAYS hungry!)

I need more discipline...the meetings, the online tracking. I have incorporated a lot of your food ideas, though. And I have definitely been doing the workouts you suggested!!!!!!

What kind of plan did you suggest? I am stuck in a rut my old diet habits aren't really working anymore because they are just bland and not exciting. Any new diet ideas would be really helpful!

It's about 4 point for a cup

Re: Anyone doing WW???

Sure,I just didn't feel like getting up to get it last night...i Kbnow so lazy but it was late lol! Anyways here it is,
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup of sugar1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 egg whites
1 cup mashed bananas (i just use 2 big bananas its the perfect amount of flavor
1/4 cup apple sauce

This way it is 2 points per slice and should make 12 slices. I add an extra point value and add in a few walnuts and craisins

Preheat the oven to 350 and lightly grease a loaf pan, in a large bowl stir together flour, sugar baking soda baking powder and cinnamon. In another bowl mix together the banana eggwhites and apple sauce and then add to the dry ingredients. Mix together until just combined and pour into the pan. Bake for about 50-55 minutes until a tootpick put into the center comes out clean.

What I do is wait for bananas to go on sale, they usually put the really ripe ones on sale for really cjeap and than I make 2-3 loaves and just freeze them.

Ok here is another for a great chicken salad

3/4 pound cooked chicken breast cut into bite sized pieces
1/2 cup celery chopped
1/4 cup reduced calorie mayo
2 tablespoons reduced fat sour cream
2 tablespoons parsley
1 teaspoon dijion mustard
1 teaspoon lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste

Like this it is 3 points and should give you 6 servings, than for an additional extra point or two add some walnuts and chopped green apples for a waldorf style. In the receipe it says its an extra point or two depending on how much extra you add. I just say it's two points extra to be safe and I get some exercise in to try to balance it all out! I hhope this helps!

I do WW. Do you have eTools? If you go on there, there are tons of recipes on there. I have some that I have tried and loved. Alas, they are at home.

Also it's super important to drink all of your water...I find it easy to just carry one of those refillable jugs for the day..this way your not wasreing plastic bottles and you can keep track of how much h20 your actually drinking! At first you will have to pee all the time but once your body gets used it it will be fine, and it keeps you from eating when you are not hungry!

If you stick to it you def will! I did it before and lost 15 lbs, than a bunch of stuff happened I went off and gained it back plus more. But I have started again and slow and steady I've lost 10 lbs so far just 20 more to go!
