Yes- I made out with him- funny, right? I made out with a good amount of men there too- ha ha.

Yeah- the suit guy- he stood over by the tables! We used to laught our asses off about him!

ha ha

Luxe was all about 'hooking up'.......oh my... the stories.....

Yeah, I met Pete back at Voodoo....he used to stand next to the bar with the spiders in it & pretend he was Jesus Christ. People would try to do all sorts of freaky stuff to get him to blink, but he never did...so finally one day I go up to him & wave a shot under his nose... he took it & said thnks & we have been friends ever since...that was about 13 years ago He was actually in my wedding party

I miss that place..... If i had $$$ I would open up a place like that again

I think the dude that used to DJ there- not Andre- but the other guy- what's his name- they are at a club by my mother's in Amityville (where 110 meets Merrick Rd)..

My stepsister went there and I think she said she saw the suit guy there... funny.

I used to go to luxe like every weekend- even when I lived in Queens I would decide to just drive out at 1am and go :)

DJ Cody..... I actually live right down the block from that club...Molly Bloom's II Cody is funny....for a DJ he doesn't ever have a lot to say.

I am afraid to go in there... I put on so much weight & I was always the 'thin chick'...maybe after I lose about 30 lbs I'l get there.....

Ya know who was an awesome DJ & ended up leaving LIR when Andre got promoted...Joe Taggart. What a great party DJ...very cool & tons of fun... I wonder where he is these days....and his partner Maria Chambers too...

My Mom lives right over there on Wood Ave. I think she said during the summers they moved from Saturdays to Fridays.. I'll get out there one of these days.

EVERYONE gains weight- especially when you are married- I've put on a few too

Joe Taggart was great.. I still can't believe LIR is gone

Probably... pete would know.....

I know, but I am soooo no tused to hiding my body....people see that I am uncomfortable & it makes them uncomfortable

LIR changed format on the day of my wedding......i was sooooooo p!ssed

Island 94.3 has picked up some of the DJ's like Malibu Sue, but it is sooooo not the same.

I think John McCasky might be DJing there, too.....maybe I will check it out....John is awesome.

one of these days I'll get over there.
It's so hard coming from Jersey City and my DH is more of a metal head (how we live together I have no idea)

COUNTRY!!!

I know...luckily I am adding to his versatility...since we got together, I try to take him to as many concerts as I can. He likes some stuff other than country now

I even have him listening to the violent femmes and the clash
