I am have a small wedding with the max 10 tables, maybe less in a pretty small room. Right now I am getting high and low centerpieces. If I went with all low I would be saving about 400 dollars. For me, I hate the idea of spending alot on flowers when some halls even include them. I saw a wedding set up in the bigger room at my hall that used candleabres as centerpieces and it looked so nice. Since I'm having mine in a smaller room, will low centerpieces look silly. Anyone doing all low or have any pictures to share of a room with low centerpieces in it?

Plenty of people do low CP's. I was at a wedding in July where they did all low and everything was still gorgeous.

I'm mixing high and low, but it will be a big wedding/room/ and over 20 tables. I know all low is less expensive, but I recently went to a wedding with all low, and you just don't get that 'wow factor' when you walk in the room because you don't even see the flowers until you sit down.

We are doing low centerpieces.
Look in my album 'flowers' for a picture of what we are doing. Also got a great quote on them.

I'm doing low...it just was not worth the extra $$ to us.
Flowers IMO won't change anything about the wedding...they don't affect people having a good time. You see them for 5 hours then never again.

Re: Anyone else doing low centerpieces
I am probably doing all low centerpieces because when I talked to one florist he told me my ceilings were too low to do high CP...it would not look right
I'm doing all low. Besides the fact that it's cheaper, I personally prefer the look of low centerpieces.

Have you considered doing both high and low centerpieces? That way you can save some money on flowers by having low centerpieces but also have the wow affect of high centerpieces.

Re: Anyone else doing low centerpieces
I'm prob doing all low with candles around them. The ceiling in the RH is a bit too low for high ones. I don't want to draw attention to the low ceiling.

That's what we are doing as of now, but I was thinking of doing all low now. The guy said that half high and low will look good but there has to be 10 tables, otherwise it might look off. Obviously right now, I can't say for sure if we will have 10 but I'm assuming we will. I'm just thinking bc the room is small will it be ok with just all low. We're having uplighting done so I think the room will look ok without the wow factor of all high.

I think I am going to do low center pieces on the tables and then maybe some high center pieces around the RH. Here's what I am hoping to have..
