Anyone else growing out their hair?

I got a 'short' (just past the shoulder) layered haircut in August, and then freaked and have been growing it out since. It is very long now (to the bottom of my boobs) and it's driving me crazy! I want it to be long enough to wear curly day-of, and extensions aren't included w/ my hair person, so I cant really cut it, but I am definitely going to do a newlywed chop after the wedding!

Anyone else growing their hair out? How are you dealing?

my hair is the LONGEST it has been since elementary school.. and pretty much its up daily...

not liek that was ANY different when it was shoulder length.. but really its gets stuck under my UNDERARMS!! i rais my arm and i snap my head back!!!

so i ususlly straighten it, then i pull it back randomly all day.

i too will NOT pay for extensions...so its let it grow i go!

My hair is probably as long as yours -- it's past where my bra hooks in back. I notice that I wear it in a ponytail way more than I like!

I was and then cut about 4 inches off on thursday and feel great!!

Its still long, but it was soooo weighed down!

yeah but withthe longer hair and the skinnier face i look LESS liek a bowling ball lately.. so im learnign to love the pony!

i bought a curling iron and thought it might be nice to play around with when i go out, to keep it from looking as long, but i bought a cheapy 3pack at the grocery store (3 diff sizes for $10.99) and it sparked, and blew a fuse in my bathroom so i returned it. i might still get another curling iron but i dont know which...

there is the tom boy in me... i never wear makeup,never did... prob never will... and i never learned how to curl my hair.. style it or do cute up do's...

I have pretty straight hair... and all I really know how to do is straighten it but it makes it look even LONGER! I accidentally left my straightener in NY and didnt straighten my hair for 3 weeks until I bought a new one, and when I straightened it FH was shocked by how much longer it looked.

Im assuming my hair is long enough where I can figure out the curling iron? Maybe?

I've been growing out my hair since FH and I got engaged. It's midway down my back.

When we return from our honeymoon, I will be donating it through Pantene. I plan on going back to my crazy pixie cut. I miss being able to wake up, throw pomade in my hair and go. Those were the days.

I am trying to grow mine out... have been for five years... it is taking forever! I feel like it doesn't even grow anymore.

Which doesn't seem like it's possible since I have to color my grays every month!

ME, ME, ME!!!!!!! And I can't stand it!! When I shampoo in the shower, I have all this blinding hair, swirling and whirling, like an octopus, choking me with it's tentacles!!! Mary MOB

see tahts waht i want to do but im kinda scared... i dotn want to burn my hair then have to CUT it!!!

i may invest in rollers that seems safer...

my hair is curly but thick.. so if i put musse in it, it is really wavy curly.. but not the curling iron curls...

maybe someone can put up a how to on here?!

I'm definitely doing a chop, but not a bob or anything. I look goofy with short hair. I'm hoping it will be long enough to do locks of love and still have it to my shoulders... I'll have to see how much it grows in the next 3-4 months.

My hair grows REALLY fast so I might be able to pull it off.

the color is straight out of the box -- I used to go to Maximus and have it done but they kept messing up the color
