Anyone else have a huge deposit due before Christmas?

We have our second and rather large deposit due to the Miller Place Inn on December 1st. FSIL's wedding is December 4th, our E-party is January 2nd and I've only bought about $15 worth of Christmas gifts!

Anyone else feeling the money crunch for the holidays?

ACK!

No.. Stewart Manor has no schedule of paymetns. I send them $100 every now and then. Nothing major. Next year after Taxes I'll send them a larger chunk. Im required to have 3/4ths paid 3 months in advance, that's the only requirement.

I also throw a $100 or so to my DJ & Photo/Video place when I can. When I booked my vendors I made SURE they were flexible and easy on my wallet in the long run not just the bottom line.

Music by Michael accept ANYTHING as a deposit and doesnt care HOW you pay him as long as he's paid on that day. Big Help there.

Queens Bridal actually asked if it was still ok to send me monthly bills, they were nice enough to call and say 'We don't want to make you feel like we are harassing you, we know you guys will pay when you can, so if you want us to stop, just let us know' I told them it was ok, it's a nice reminder for me.

Florist is paid via my payments to Queens Bridal.

Dress was half paid and next half we'll pay on pick up.

Other than that.. I have nothing with major bills.

It's a HUGE relief I can't tell you!

Thankfully, no. All of our vendors are being paid 1/3 at a time...so we have 2/3's left and those payments aren't due until just before our wedding.

We're actually not exchanging Christmas gifts this year...or rather, we're keeping it super, super light. Everyone understands - 4 of FHs siblings that got married, all did the same the Christmas before.

12/1 payment due too- I think the pymt after this will be the last and biggest.

We are lucky we have a fairly large payment (about $4000)due its supposed to be at the 6th month mark (which is the day after christmas) but our Banquet manager (without us asking)moved it to February because of the holiday!

I have to send out $1000 today, but we chose to pay this way. Since both our families have gotten so big we do a sectret santa! So I only have to buy one gift for someone in his family and one gift for my family.

I just sent today the next $1000 payment watermill requites ($2000 2/1/04)

No other payments are required from my vendors until closer to date.

That is yet another reason why I am so glad I did my booking so long ago.

Can you ask MPI for an extension? Maybe offer to pay a little more if you can wait until after your e-party (hope you get $$)

yup, Fh just wrotea check yesterday for Terrace for 2500. Due by Dec 1st, cutting it close

Yes, I have a payment in Dec.
Whave the $ saved up but still, I'm no one's Santa this year. Except for FH who is getting to see Simon and Garfunkel in dec for Christmas.

YUP!!!! We just had to pay our last deposit for our hall. It's due 12/1 and was $2500!!! That stung a bit! So, needless to say, xmas shopping isn't happening anytime soon!!!

ours isn't due until just after the holidays...iy isn't much better, but the good thing is that we do have it saved...too bad they don't take those things into consideration.

We are pretty much all caught up with or payments to the hall. We still owe photo/video, limos, and some credit card payments.. so you can pretty much say that Christmas in our household is going to be presentless. Thats okay a few weeks later I am getting the best gift-A Husband.
