We have our second and rather large deposit due to the Miller Place Inn on December 1st. FSIL's wedding is December 4th, our E-party is January 2nd and I've only bought about $15 worth of Christmas gifts!
Anyone else feeling the money crunch for the holidays?

Well we wanted to pay our DJ early, so today we just paid our balance which was $1050 we paid the florist $1500 (but the floristis being paid by my mother) we have to buy our wedding bands and i need to buy my bra and shoes like this week. We have spent about 200.00 in Christmas gifts with about another 300.00 to go.. So pretty crunched but could be worse.

Thankfully no, but I did have to pay a $2500 payment on my birthday last month. Happy Birthday to me

Im not giving out xmas presents. Can't afford them. Mostly everyone understands tho. Thank heaven.

we definately are feeling it, the majority of ALL of our deposits are due before christmas, we are just going to take it easy for teh hoidays, we usually go away for the new year, and we spoil each other with gifts, NOT THIS YEAR..we are going to just really take it easy, and try and save as much as we can. Its stressful!!

I just put $2000 on the reception today. It's going to be sad christmas in my family this year, but it'll all be worth it at the end.
