anyone else have a little brother???

And when people mess with him...you get REALLY pissed off and go into older sister psycho mode lol

I'm so pissed for my brother right now! Poor guy....he's just the cutest, funniest 19 year old guy out there and was dating this girl for like 2 years (still in HS), just recently broke up with her but has been trying to what he thought was work some things out......... turns out that two days ago, he found out his best friend....(eh em...FORMER best friend) is now dating her. He's so pissed off right now and hurt, I justt feel awful!! & I know both of these kids and while yes...they are young (yadda yadda yadda) I'd really like to give them a piece of my mind but I'll save my brother the embarassment of that though! hehe

It's one thing to be hurt by someone you love and watch them move on but to move onto his former best friend, makes me sick and makes me so sad for my brother.

anyone else an older sister out there? and understand where I'm coming from?

I am, my brother is 18 and is going through a break up as well..he just cant get over the girl and he's quite good looking but he feels like she is 'the one' and no one will compare..

yeah..but then I think I was there once too..we usually all are I just always thought break-ups affect girls more now I see that it can definitely go both ways

Things have been rocky in paradise lately with my 16 yr old brother and his 15 yr old GF's 1 year, 2 month, 1 week long relationship...I've never seen a a 16 yr old boy cry so much.

I feel so badly, but there's nothing I can do (while managing to spare his embarassment) - I just listen and hug.

That's sad, especially when you know your brother is one of the good ones!!! He will get through it and hopefully knows now that he isn't a true friend at all!!!!!
I got the same way a few years ago when it happened to my brother, I know where you're coming from!

I totally know where you are coming from im an older sister to a brother and sister.. both with HUGE hearts...
my lil sister just broke up with her boyfriend 2 months ago after 2+ years (she turns 18 this week)..she's also gone through alot of ''friend'' drama (notice friends in quotes)

and my bro had been broken up with a hoo*chie (twice) .. when he falls he falls hard and noone can tell him the bad stuff that is going on he turns a blind eye with his 'love'...he just started dating a new girl (i meet her saturday to grill her, she does have my sisters 'ok')...

i am very skeptical of anyone who gets close to them.. they know that i have to size their new sig others up.. i dont think anyone will ever been good enough for those two...
But i do hope they find the same love me and fh have!
but ill be veryyyy leary of anyone who wants to get near them i dont like to see them hurt!

That S UCKS!!!! Who the frickin hell would do that to a friend?!?!? UGH I HATE THAT! Not for nothin- I was dating FH when I was 17, so if one of my friends tried to pull something over on me and steal him or something stupid like that [first of all FH would NEVER go for it] but 2nd- Yes even though we were young, we ended up dating for 8 years and getting engaged!!!! You DONT do that sh!t no matter what, especially not to a FRIEND!

yep!! my brother is only 2 years older than me, but when he needs me, I go into psycho mode or, just really protective mode....I also have a younger sister who is 10 years younger than me, so I have a lot of older sister protective moments...

All will be ok for your brother, he is just lucky that he found this out about his friend and ex girlfriend so early on. At least he can see that his friend really wasn't his friend at all. I know it is hard to see that now, but he'll be ok.

Exact same way about my lil sister. I am very protective and I think I'll be in for a shock when she heads to college in the fall next year!

I cried when he left....lol & I was living on my own!

It's so great to see everyone else's reaction!! I told him that he doesn't need people in his life like that, they aren't worth it. It's just so frustrating to watch it unfold....and although we've all done stupid things when we were younger, I couldn't ever imagine ever doing that to one of my friends.

YEY for older protective sisters!! He's almost 20...will it ever stop? lol

I know EXACTLY how you feel. My 'baby' brother is 10 years younger than me so in addition to being his big sister I have this weird maternal instinct and am overly protective of him. He can actually be a bit of a jerk with the ladies so if anything I do get annoyed with him but when I feel he is being taken advantage of or is hurting it really bothers me

He also has Epilepsy so that also add's fuel to my fire. You have company here

I don't have a younger brother but I do have a 11yr. old nephew who I consider my little brother. I definitley get in psycho mode when something happens at school, or when a kids are just being kids but acting mean. I'm a really protective aunt and I can see myself in a couple of years getting really psycho when and if a girl ever breaks his sweet heart. It just takes control over us I guess when it comes to people we love.

I have an almost 16yo sister. Luckily she doesn't date yet. She says she can't find a guy good enough for her (hehe she is such a princess). So as for now its just her complaining that she doesn't like-like the guys that like-like her. I am dreading when she gets her heart broken because I may kill the guy I'm a little overly protective.

I do..although my 'little brother' is now almost 29 yrs old! He was dating a nightmare of a girl a few years ago, I hated her truly..now he has a girlfriend who seems wonderful..I hope it works out for him this time!! No matter how old your little bro gets, youre always gonna be protective of him. I hope your brother finds someone who appreciates him!!
