Anyone else have this problem?

My mom and I have been and still are very close. But my mom is also very overbearing and can be quite a nag. I dont share as much with her as I used to because she is a lot to handle and its easier this way. However, she feels like I am leaving her out of wedding planning. I really am not. I dont think my mom needs to be there to pick out gifts for my BM. I can do it myself or I will ask my FH for his opinion if I want one. I think my mom is feeling like she is losing me but I just dont allow her to be as controlling as she has been in the past. I just got off the phone with her complaining about feeling left out again. UGHHHHH

Anyone else have this problem?

Can you just say something like ~ I know you're busy with your own things and I appreciate your help and advice but sometimes I enjoy doing things on my own and at my own pace. Maybe talk to her about the things you will want help with so she knows when to expect to be able to work with you.
