I guess I have the same problem. I never thought I looked young but when I was shopping for my Day of Purse... they asked me if it was for Homecoming!!! Then I went for a makeup trial and the lady asked me the same thing!!!! I actually just turned 27 so I guess they all think I look about 10 years younger.

I get SO sick and tired of people saying, 'Well you'll appreciate looking young when you're older.' Um, okay but right now, I'm not older, and I don't appreciate it! When someone says to me, 'Oh my God, I thought you were 18!' I feel like saying to them, 'Oh my God, I thought you were *and then say some age that's clearly waaay older than they are*!!!' Wouldn't they be insulted at that? Well, that's how insulted I feel when they tell me I look so young! Grrr! I'm glad you brought up this topic, it's something I feel so strongly about!! :)

Don't hate it love it! Believe me it is the best...I looked 17 when I was 27/28 too and it works in your favor. Don't rush to look old it comes fast enough.

I'm 26 and I get 17/18 all the time! I don't mind it anymore!

I'll be 26 in a couple of weeks but everyone tells me i look soo young.. esp when im just in sweats no makeup... even when i go into a liquor store to buy a bottle of wine they ask for id and cigarettes and even lotto sometimes.. its annyoing to always have to show my licence and hear them go oo im sorry butttt i rather look young cuz i;ll be happy when im turning 40 and people think im 30 !!

I recently was at the doctors' office - i'm seeing a therapist & the woman asked me where my mom was to ask her to sign a release form. I had to show her my license - i'm totally not kidding. She almost fainted when i told her i was 32!

I look younger than my age. I'm 29 and people usually think I'm around 21 or so.
It used to bother me, but not anymore. I make a joke out of it because I see how uncomfortable people get sometimes at having to ask for id. My mom looks young too (her co-workers thought her kids were toddlers!), so it runs in the family.

yeah i look young also. I am 27. Everybody says I look 18. I have to show my I D all the time. I used to get upset but now I am so used to it that I keep my I D out to show.

I get the same thing but I LOOOOOVE it. I get carded to buy lotto tickets. Trust me, there will be a time where youre wishing you looked younger. Enjoy it!

My all time favorite was I got carded when going to see a rated R movie... I was 22 at the time....
Another time I was getting my make-up done for some event and the lady told me to remember them when I have my prom (mind you I was 23!!!!!!!!!!)

Will we ever get older? I know people say you should be happy you look so young but sometimes its just ridiculous. When I went tiara shopping in the city one lady asked me if it was for my sweet 16!

When I was like 15, people thought I was in college. Then when I was in college, people thought I was in high school. Now, I still think I look young, but no one has given me any comments about it. I would KILL someone if they thought I was shopping for prom or my sweet sixteen!

I can relate! Im 28 and I constantly get ID'd to buy cigarettes. And then when they look at the ID and then look at me, they laugh and are like 'theres no way your 28!!' I guess eventually I'll start liking it in a few years when i hit the big 3-0
