I am almost 23 and I was carded to by a R movie in Walmart and carded all the time in 7-11 for lotto tickets!! Its so funny.
When I was 21 I was carded in the Library to check out a book from the Adult side lol..

I got carded at Wal-Mart too! W T F is up with them?!
The woman was like you're not 17. So I told her you're right I'm not...I'm 26.
I see it as a blessing because my mother always looked younger and aged very well. So maybe I'll inherit that trait!

I definitely look young. I'm 25 and people always think I'm 18/19. They always check my ID to get in anywhere. Looking young used to bother me, but not anymore! Now I appreciate it.

I'm getting invisalign for the wedding, and my dentist asked me if I brought my 'Mommy or Daddy because he needs to talk to them about what he is going to do, and the price.' I was like I'm 26 YEARS OLD!!!

most people think I'm the youngest of my sisters - the youngest is 16! Even family members forget how old I am b.c. of how i look!

i work in a doctors office and i constantly get asked... 'are you old enought to be doing that' its kinda annoying but i get used to it.

yep! all the time i get that i look like im 17 or 18...I'm 26!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But its not bothering me that much anymore! id rather look young than old..so i actually take it as a compliment! Hopefully the same will be true when im 40!!!!
I still get carded sometimes even for r rated movies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the worst...i went to look at fox hollow a second time (before i booked a hall) and i wanted to show my mom...The lady (no joke) said 'what was the event again, a sweet 16??' i was mortified! lol

I am a teacher. Last year I was a substitute teacher and kids were talking about drinking and stuff. One student was saying that they shouldn't be talking about these things in front of the teacher. But the other students were saying 'Oh she is young, she doesn't care....she didn't graduate from high school that long ago.' Then they asked me 'What year did you graduate? Like 2004?'
And I said '1992.' I am 33.
They were stunned.
At my age, I am happy to look younger, but sometimes it is upsetting that I may not get the respect I deserve.

No one can ever guess how old I am! At this point its just funny .....
My most recent story .... FH & I were in Best Buy looking at cameras. The salesman helping us referred to FH as my FATHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More than once!
And I'm actually older than him by a few months.
Also, I had a customer ask me what GRADE I was in. I own my own business.
I'm 30, FH will be 30 in January. ;lol:

I will be 28 next Saturday and I still get carded everywhere. BUTTTT I am so not complaining! I'm really happy about that. I was on a cruise in August and the bartender made me go back up to my room to get my license. And then I got my drink taken away twice that same night. I was a little mad at first but then I realized how lucky I actually am. *** Meanwhile, I don't think I look young for my age at all. But as long as everyone else does- I'm happy!!!

haha i have the saaaaame prob, im 23 and i teach in a middle school, on dress down day the security guard asked me for my hall pass!!!!!! haha

I usually get asked what college I go to....but I'm 28. If i dress in jeans and a sweatshirt, I look even younger.

haha im 24 and i still get proofed for lotto tickets and rated R movies. I take it as a compliment!!! I dont want to look older ever!!!! So I just keep using my nuetrogena moisturizer...its seems to be the secret lol

I'll be 28 very soon and i love getting carded and ppl thinking im younger...especially when im dressed more casual, i know when i get older ill miss this.
FH gets it ALOT too, especially when he shaves, he hates it alot of times but i always tell him to be glad...its funny bc he'll get Id'ed alot and sometimes he gets asked what school he goes to thinking hes alot younger lol

i feel like it has a lot to do with how people dress these days too! our culture is so casual now that a lot of us dress bummy and older people associate that with younger people!

I agree. When you wear sweats and no make up, I think you look a lot younger.
