Anyone else love playing house??? LoL

I don't know if it's because FH and I have never lived together but we are having so much fun....LoL I LOVE cooking every night (especially for two its so much easier than cooking for our entire families..LoL) and i just love doing the household things...anyone else having this much fun and if so how long will it last

i keep telling DH.... if the first year of marriage is supposed to be the hardest, then WOW we are so blessed because it has been nothing but great!!

AWW that's great! I hope our year is just as fun as yours because our three weeks is GREAT...LOL

i have been enjoying the peace and quiet, i lived with my inlaws for about 10 months while the house was in construction

So the kitchen is not done yet, but i do heat stuff up in the microwave and its been fun.
DH works alot, hes gone at 7:30am and gets home around 11:30pm
so its nice to be home and with my doggy and with my friends too, i couldnt have my friends over when i lived with my inlaws

Aww it def must be nice. We are TEMPORARILY living in the basement apartment at my parents house but since we never lived together its stil lfun. Although its only been about 4 days since weve been home and im already itching for our own place!!!!

I'm ironing right now so i kinda feel your pain....lol

no its just you lol....

weve lived together for 3 years and i love living on my own, but it can get tiring sometimes doing everything in the house, and we have a daughter to clean up after also

It was fun when we first moved in together....its been two years now...and the novelty definitely wore off!!! I used to do the cooking/cleaning/laundry...thinking it was so nice to be playing house.....now I get mad at him when he doesnt help. He cooks now, does his own laundry and I clean and do my laundry!

We are living in an apartment now. We just signed our contract yesterday and should be closing on our house in August. I think I will get excited for having my own house and start doing all that stuff again, but I also dont want to un-do all the training that I have done in the last year

OMG girl you are SOOOO gonna get over that!!! I do remember when I enjoyed it though. This week I redecorated and painted my whole living room to make it look nice and I had so much fun. But as far as cleaning and cooking, me no likey no more

i LOOOOVE the cooking and living together thing...but i can totally do with out the cleaning!!! i could walk past a sink full of dishes for a week and not care!! it drives DH crazy!

i still get the butterflies in my stomach when i hear his car pull into the driveway...etc..

our first year together was rough - but let me tell you - this first year of marriage has been HEAVEN!!!

I haven't even gotten there and I'm already sick of cleaning and cooking. I warned him I need a maid to come once a week and takeout 4 times a week, 2 times a week he better take me out!

I dont know who gets more excited when I hear DH's car alarm beep, me or the dog!!!

I absolutely love love love all the housewife stuff and its been over five months - and I have a feeling I will love it forever!!!



its also kind of easy to keep such a small space clean!!!

i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it.. DH and I never lived together.. so it's exciting to just come home to him and just chill on the couch.. oohh and i love to just think of dinner.. of what to do and look up recipies..

How do you happy homemakers deal with FH/DH junk?

He wont throw anything away, and he took all the good closet space... and confined me to a 30' ikea wardrobe...
