I don't know if it's because FH and I have never lived together but we are having so much fun....LoL I LOVE cooking every night (especially for two its so much easier than cooking for our entire families..LoL) and i just love doing the household things...anyone else having this much fun and if so how long will it last

i'm jealous of all the girls who actually make dinner. I cannot fathom getting home in time to cook dinner; DH always gets home before me. I'm lucky if I get home by 7. and of course when he cooks he NEVER cleans up - there's a dirty george foreman on the counter still and i refuse to clean it because he cooked chicken for himself and i wasn't home; if you cook for yourself you should clean after yourself, i think... when he cooks for us I always clean up.
as for household stuff - with the hours I work and going to school at night there was no way i was cleaning on weekends so I got a cleaning lady like a year ago and am very happy with it.

Working that late would definitely make me not want to do anything when i got home. Right now i get out at 330, but if i have to stop anywhere and im out until 7 then forget it, i just want to shower get my jammies and get in bed.

I know what you mean. When DH and I first moved in, I loved it. Now, 3 and a half years later, it is a bit much. I HATE folding laundry and get sick of making dinner.

FH and I have been living together for almost 3 years and the novelty definitely wears off!! I hate to clean and FH's tolerance for messiness is a LOT lower than mine!
I hate that I feel guilty for not cleaning when I'm home basically doing nothing (which I LOVE to do) when he goes out to play sports. He goes out and has fun and I stay home and do housework. Why do allow myself to feel guilty!!?! I know I deserve time to do what I want even if it's vegging on my couch being a lazy A$$!
It does make me happy when FH loves a meal that I made and I love it when he cleans without me having to ask!!
I'm hoping that when we buy a place after the wedding that we'll rekindle some of that excitment when it's time to make a nice home for ourselves and any have future additions to the family
