Just curious. My brother does (who was named after someone) but I don't. Always felt ripped off! And no one ever believed me growing up - they all thought I had some horrible midlde name that I didn't want to tell anyone!!! LOL!

I have one, but my friend does not. We used to not believe her too. I have another college friend where her name is Victoria Vicky, there was a mixup with the nurse, she didn't understand what her mother said the name owuld be so she was Victoria, yah know Vicki, and that is what was put on the Birth Certificate.

I have one. Frankie doesn't all of his sisters have double names but no middle names.

Well dear you can always do what my father did, make one up.
My mother recently discovered while going through old paperwork, that the middle name that is on all my dad's major paparwork, Old Army doc, credit cards, does not exist.
She found his elementary school records, his birth certificate and his middle name is nowhere on them. It's seems that when my father took confirmation the name he used stuck and has been with him ever since. He has been using so long that he was not even aware that he made it up!!!
It's never been questioned strangley enough!! It's not on his SS card, but he signs all his tax records and whatnot with his middle inital!!
Go figure!!

My dad added an 'e' to the end of his first name...and just realized that its not on his BC...his mother always told him to put the 'e'...
the US Navy, SS, US Post Office (where he worked) all have him with an 'e' at the end...no one questioned that it wasn't on his BC...

People STILL don't believe me when I tell them I have no middle name! They just say, 'Come on, just tell me, I won't laugh!' My parents were hippies and thought it was the 'yuppy' thing to give a middle name (wtf? right?) so my sister and I have no middle names. Although my sister has a hyphenated first name Sarah-Beth, so people just think it's her middle name. Ah, whatever, who really uses their middle name anyway?
