when I walk into borders or the convenient store in my mall...they start bringing unopened shipment cases of new wedding magazines for me. one guy even passes by my job and tells me when he's gotten new magz. its like 'I got some stuff for you' I feel like a damn drug addict!
It's not just wedding mags but like It's often that I go in there and I'll have 14 out of 17 of the wedding mags they have displayed. I think I'm sick in the head.

I like them but i'm a reader and they have too many ads in there. Once you find your dress, you don't want to look at 100 pages of gowns anymore..at least I didn't....
eta: let the record show however, that I currently posess 15 mags on my shelf...no es bueno

It's funny, I'm an online obsessed bride-to-be, but not a magazine crazed bride-to-be. I have too many Glamour, Cosmo, Elle and People magazines piled up that I haven't had the chance to read yet. Sometimes I pick one from my pile and bring it to work and I realize it was from the beginning of the summer!

I completely agree! I like to read Glamour and those kind of magazines better, because bridal mags are almost entirely ads. Now that I have ordered my gown, I don't want to look at 100 other temptations.
I do like the text part but I find them kind of boring. I have a bunch though (my MOH got me a subscription to one, and Macys gave me another subscription for registering).
If anyone wants a free yearly subscription, register with macy's! (or FM me -- i have way more than i need)

It's true a ot of the bridal magazines are mostly adds. But, I am still obsessed with them. Even though I've gotten all my ideas online. There is this one magazine that just changes it cover, but has the exact same inside every month. I learned that the hard way lol

My dress designer usually has 2 ads in each magazine (not like maggie or david's bridal which has 50 ) but never with my dress!

I used to buy them and my friend gave me no joke, about 30 + magazines. But, I find they all have the same s**t in them. The best are Martha Stewart for reception ideas, but other than that I think they are a waste of money. Unless you are searching for a dress, they are very helpful for that.
