I saw this topic but it's old, so figured I'd try a new one. FH and I have been dating three years(this coming Feb) and we're waiting til marriage. Only by God's grace have we made it thus far! We can't wait for our wedding night though!! We cuddle, and are very affectionate with each other, but we don't do ANYTHING that leads to other things. We're old fashioned, what can I say...
I'm a little nervous about the first time, but I know it will be special. I'm a Christian, and it's part of what I believe. I don't profess to be perfect, I did mess up with an ex, doing things I shouldn't, so this time I didn't want to make that mistake again. I moved on, and here we are! Anyone else waiting?
PLEASE NOTE!!!! This is NOT meant to condemn ANYONE. I'm just curious is all!! I'm not a judgemental person at all! We all have choices, and this is my and my FH's choice! Thanks!!

My FH jokes about it too...right after the ceremony's over we're heading straight home(honeymoon is in Dec after hurricane season and better weather in FL) and NOT going to sleep! I can't wait!
PS My parents were married August 24!! They just celebrated 43 years!

Both 29...he'll be 30 this coming April. I'll be 30 one week after our wedding.

I think its really great that you waited......our religion doesn't require waiting, so we didn't...
I think that since you grew up with these values, you'll really appreciate it in the end. Also, the antcipation makes it very exciting!

We were pretty much in the same situation. We started dating at 15, and waited until we were 18…He’s my only one!

Thanks so much for the encouragement!! I agree! Of course, once the reception's over, we're high tailing it outta there and straight home!!! Our HM isn't until Dec when the weather is nicer and hurricane season is over in FL(Disney!!!)
