anyone else's fh telling them to stop worrying???

i feel as though he has no clue how much planninng i've been doing and all the running around and phone calls i do. then for him to say calm down u need to relax just proves he has no clue!! its soo frustrating i just want to cry sometimes!!!!!!

They have absolutely no clue, my FH has done absolutely nothing for this wedding, yet he says hes stressed too!

Tricia, I feel your pain. Right now me and Fh are not on speaking terms he thinks working on a video for his friend is more important than finishing our envelopes for the invites. None of them have any clue.

I've got the solution.... delegate some stuff to him, so he can share the stress... that would make you feel better, and would make him realize the task at hand....

just make it something he cares about.... like the limo, catering, the cake, the booze, the GM gifts.... or keeping tabs on the budget / calculating tips.

FH just wrote up our list of stuff to pack for the HM. Is it incomplete? Most likely, but it's still less that I have to do

I tried delegating and it was never done!!!

Those are my FH favorite words 'Don't worry' or 'relax'

Relax? RELAX?? Ugh - if they only knew.

i feel ur pain!!!! mine thinks fantasy baseball's more important!!!! hes too tired when i want to talk about wedding stuff but the min one of his friends call to talk baseball hes wide awake!!!

That is so funny becase my FH says the same thing and has not helped in any way so far.

Yeap, FH says it all of the time. He has no idea what is going into planning this day. Not a clue.

HOLY S H I T!!!! You are marrying my FH!!! I started fantasy bball and he took over! He thinks I obssesed with this site, but he's always making trades and telling me the mets infield is doing nothing! And when I tell him we don't have the money for this or here is the mile long list of things to still od, he says 'Don't worry!' or 'Relax!' Wanna stangle him when he says that. I gave him a list 2 months ago and do you know whats gotten done? The 2 things I did!!! He is a great guy, father, fiance but gettinig him to do stuff or sympathize with all I do is hard sometimes. In short, you are not alone!

FH is into Fantasy Baseball too but he seems to be handling it pretty well so far...it hasn't totally taken over our lives...yet.

I wouldn't say I'm upset with him not understanding the stress of planning it....but he keeps telling me not to worry about . I'm so freaked out that we won't have enough. He IS the accountant so I should trust him- but I don't think he really can understand how much weddings cost! And I keep praying we'll hit our minimum and that's that!

I feel for ya girl! It's very frustrating when they don't have a clue.

ME: Sitting here for hours writing TY's, trying to find BM gifts, going through the ceremony book to pick our vows and readings for the minister....

...we have to finalize our song list so I asked him to do ONE thing, and find a song TONIGHT for us to enter the reception to....

HIM: Sitting on the couch playing Guitar Hero.

At least I know I'm not alone!! We end up arguing for the little things when it comes to the wedding!! FH does not understand the urgency or the process that goes into planning a wedding!!
