Nocello's in Northport Pomodorino in Hauppauge Casa Rustica and La Familigia in Smithtown Garden Grill in Smithtown Sweetwaters Bar & Bistro in Hauppauge
They are places I am looking into for my RD.
Any other suggestions for a RD place for about 35 - 45 people that is 'reasonable' (aka under $30pp) in the East Northport/Commack/Smithtown/Hauppauge area.

considering I live near all of those, the only place I've eaten at is Sweetwaters. They have great fondue and martinis, but it is pricey. good luck- can't wait to hear what you decide...

A friend is a chef at casa rustica. Beautiful place. I have actually never eaten there just have sat at the bar.

I have eaten at Casa Rustica, Pomodorino's and Sweetwaters. They all had great food. The best out of those three was Casa Rustica but they are expensive. We had my GF's RD at Polini's in Hauppauge a few years ago and that was good too.

i never ate at those places, but have you checked out butterfields in hauppauge or ciao baby in commack? they are both terrifc places with wonderful food!

Only Pomodorino and Garden Grill. Pomodorino was so so. Garden Grill is awesome. They have the best Rigatoni Alla Vodka! Mmmmmmmm Yummy!!! Garden Grill has a really nice atmosphere too!!!

I eat at La Famiglia all the time. The owners are great and so is their food. I had my bridal shower there and everyone raved about the food. Plus the prices are great too.

Pomordino - awesome and some have a private area. Sweetwaters - right now out of commission due to a fire. I don't know when they plan on opening back up.
The others I don't know about.

I've eaten at Nocello's twice. It was excellent. One of those times was a baby shower and the room was very nice. I liked it very much.

Eaten at Pomadorinos and liked it...we are having out RD in the garden room...you get a lot for your money there and I liked the casual but beautiful feel to that room!

We had our school Christmas party at Pomodorino's in Hauppauge and had the BEST time. Food, price, and atmosphere were excellent. We will continue to go there next year as well. Very cozy side room.

Sorry for the shameless plug but Butterfield's is a great restaurant. A good friend of mine is exec. chef and one of the owners. The food is EXCELLENT!
As for Nocello's they have a separate room (in front) that is bright. I'm having my reheaarsal brunch there. they have a large selection of dishes for brunch.

Nocello's in NPT is good, they have a good buffet, but I heard they changed owners and its not the same anymore.
Garden Grill is great!!! My sister had her RD it was great, I think you can have the upstairs room for a big party.
Had my RD at Sweetwaters. Price was good! I think we had 20 people! we were in the back room but not alone.

How about Ciao Baby in Commack?
for 35-45 people it might be too expensive?? not sure if they can fit that big party, might need to be on an off peak time?
