Anyone ever eaten at the following restaurants?

Nocello's in Northport
Pomodorino in Hauppauge
Casa Rustica and La Familigia in Smithtown
Garden Grill in Smithtown
Sweetwaters Bar & Bistro in Hauppauge

They are places I am looking into for my RD.

Any other suggestions for a RD place for about 35 - 45 people that is 'reasonable' (aka under $30pp) in the East Northport/Commack/Smithtown/Hauppauge area.

My good friend's husband is the chef for Casa Rustica and the food is amazing!!!

I have been to the Garden Grill twice for Christmas parties for work. the food is wonderful and the service is good. Unfortunately, the place is small for the amount of people you want to have. I was considering it too, but I think you will be packed out!! We had about 25 people and we were packed in the room. The first time I went we were downstairs and in a private room and there wasnt enough room. So the following year we were put upstairs, and still not enough room. IF you do have the RD there I would make the guarantee that you get the room to YOURSELF..if they put another party in there with you then you will be packed like sardines.....thats just with my experence.

I've been to Pomodorinos and Sweetwaters. Sweetwaters has excellent food. It's one of my favorite restaurants but as others said it can be pricey (the fondue it the best though!!!) I have been to Pomodorinos to eat a few times and my FSIL's bridal shower was held there. The food and service were both great.
